    I miss your videos playing for the elephants! Probably the kindest gesture they’ve ever experienced from our kind in their entire lifetimes.

    Beautiful! My 89 year old Mum listened to his Floe piece a couple of days ago and was vocalising along to the music, away in her own happy musically enchanted world. Thank you Mr Barton. Perfect.

    Listening to these etudes is the first time I have been able to make any sense of Philip Glass. I have heard his work a few times on BBC Radio 3 and not been encouraged. So, thank you!

    Philip Glass is a friend of Denis Russel Davis, former conductor of Bruckner Orchester. Once they gave a concert of his composition...very good componist. Thanks for your beautiful performance...

    Paul, would you consider doing a video/videos on Beethoven's 25th Piano Sonata? To me, it's underrated and very beautiful. It's certainly easier than many of the others but its "simplicity" makes it endearing! Cheers!

    There is an earlier edition of this Etude, perhaps that is the one you were sent? Andrew Chubb plays this version here - ruclips.net/video/E0mfa_Zd4l8/видео.html

      You must never have tried to play piano, this is incredibly difficult, it's not something an amateur could do at all. Unless the amateur was incredibly gifted and practiced for hours daily. Not to mention it is beautiful.

    • @nitmo8557
      @nitmo8557 Год назад

      @@morgantaylor517 As a matter of fact I did try to play the piano but was never good at it. I do however, play a different instrument and can humbly say that I am OK at it. My point however, was about the entertainment value of this piece. But please don't say that it is just a study. A good study is one that is also entertaining and doesn't bore the student to tears.
