I have the H90 now for a short time. I bought it for the delay, modulation and reverb effects but I fell in love with the distortion effects. The weedwacker sounds amazing and I love the sculpt. Unfortunately the sculpt adds quite some noise floor compared to my analogue distortion. But maybe I can find a way to reduce it or eventide makes an update. I still have to learn a lot how to use the pedal. Because even though it allows just two algorithms at a time it's a very complex pedal and each algorithm has a lot of options and parameters to tweak.
The routing section is pretty fun once you get into that area. I’m in that area lot with the algorithms taking my signal in parallel between two algorithms. I def watched tutorials in small chunks and then went and practiced that part until I understood the pedal in that sense before I moved on to another part of tutorial. It made it more approachable? If that makes sense?
This looks like it will be fun for some experimental Holdsworthian jazz fusion leads

It sounds fantastic! Everytime i hear a eventide product i want one and everytime i have a eventide product i want a different UI and button layout lol. But the sound ist killer!
@EytschPi42 you can sync the harpeggiator to midi clock by: "In Parameters Edit Mode, press the Presets and Parameters Buttons simultaneously to toggle Tempo Sync on/off for a Program or Preset."
Just got the Boss SY200... Do you thing it might got sound updates after seeing what the H90 offers? I like that this one has an LFO that can be programmed and stuff... Very happy with my SY200 tho lml
I love this new update! And I keep finding new ways to use it with its internal routing capabilities especially. The tracking is insanely good. The new algos get me in touch with 80s fantasy film scores easily haha nostalgia time! I do hope they add a global gain control, adjusting in each preset can take time but I can do that easiest with the desktop app visually rather then menu diving but having a gain global control would be so good for this pedal so across the algos one could keep things balanced with levels. Poly swell* with midi clock sync to DAW BPM can get some 90s trance vibes.
I saw a short of someone playing it thru a Tonex yesterday and it sounded great! I don’t have a modeler yet but for $400 the Tonex might be a dealbreaker. Especially since it fits nicely on a pedal board. I just purchased a used H90 for $700 and I’m waiting for it to get to here already! So excited to dive into it.
H90 is like the pedalboard cheat code. Worth EVERY penny. Get one!
This is so awesome Henning! For any time based algorithms, you can activate tap tempo by pressing Presets and Parameters at the same time:)

Pitchfuzz caught me by surprise. I know it's from the h9 but I love that algo.

I love your demos/videos/reviews!

Crazy stuff from Eventide! 🤘🔥
Why do I think this would work great with my ToneX pedal? Tthat H90 has been tempting ever since it came out.

Hi, was sagst du zum Kemper Profiler Player?
Interessiert mich Null, Kemper respektiert den Rest der Industrie nicht. Der macht auch nix anderes als ToneX und das klingt super und ist günstiger.
@@EytschPi42 Where can I find out more about the industry disrespect you’re mentioning? I must have missed something. Thanks for all your great work!
Maybe, anyone here knows:
What is common or different to the Eventide H9 Max Dark Harmonizer?

Well, it's over a grand. I would assume some stuff to come for that kind of money...
Tru dat
Yeah, but how many companies actually do that? Not many. The H90 is ridiculously great. 5:05
