I’m a dog person.
I oil my fretboards with the excretions from cat butt scent-glands, really gives the neck a fine antique patina and vintage feel.

My H90 is still off my pedal board and on my desk hooked to my laptop. I'm still programming patches. The best 2 blocks in my chain. I'm really impressed with the "Sculpt" algorithm. Underrated drive.

This thing is Synthwave for the guitar. Love it.
Tried so many guitar synth options including GR1, GR55, SY 300, SY200. and they were all really not great. Last night, I tried Polysynth and was blown away. It's the best guitar synth I've ever used. I like having LFO amount on 1 and building using the LFO to shape the attack on background droning tones blended in with guitar chords.
I'm particularly impressed with how few "false triggers" there are. Stunning synth!

You can export your H9 preset list and import it into the H90 too!

Fantastic addition (and walkthrough)! QQ: I don't see these algos after the update. (I see 13 post 1.7.1 update for polysynth.) Any chance you know if they were renamed or might we have to do something to load them other than just update?
So expensive. but interesting tool and has it's uses. I'd like to see them add the option to delay the output & thus increase the modeling for better attacks and legatos, if they don't have it.

The H3000 does what it does very well but it has a particular character that can't be dialled out, which is either a good or bad thing depending on what you want. The H90 is a lot more transparent and there's a way more diverse set of fx. @@1twangmaster
@@LeonToddI thought my Eventide Micropitch pedal was more transparent than the H3000 I borrowed from a friend as well.
Do you feel you can get as big of a ambient and wide spread from the Micropitch as the H3000? Maybe just a matter of adjustment?

I assigned the middle footswitch on the unit to the Polysynth "hold" function. The H90 was run in the loop of my Axe-Fx parallel to the main distorted sound.
Love your demos, man! Still can't get myself to buy one of these....they're around 1100Euros here in Germany, due to import taxes/customs importing from the states is only very slightly less expensive (it's around 1050 Euros imported). Still, these things are just very very awesome, hope to be able to get one eventually. Take care

@@LeonTodd That would be incredible. For synth sounds i got the Neural DSP Rabea plugin, which i like and for recording it's fine. Still, i'd love to have a synth pedal and this Eventide algorithm just sounds really great. As does all of their stuff. Love this company.
I really liked the string sounds and the fact that it is polyphonic. The monophonic analog bass presets from 2:35 didn't do it for me however. but a lot of potential there. How is the tracking and the latency? That's most important

Hey Leon, Great video as always! Where can I find the Celestial Strings preset in the intro? I have just upgraded my software to 1.7.1 and can't seem to locate it.
That's a program I made - you can see the factory presets involved are "PWM Strings" and a tweaked "Blackhole" preset.

Do you think the AxeFx III has a similar algorithm? Could you do the same things with that? I'd rather not spend an additional $900 to get something I might already have.
The Axe doesn't have a polyphonic synth. EHX 9 series is a cheaper way to add some synth sounds without a special pickup

let's hear a tight gated synth arpeggio. The pads and chords are cool but a lot of people use synths for sequences.
Are the sounds at the beggining and ending default presets?
The Blackhole reverb is a slightly modified factory preset, the synth is the PWM Strings preset.
How do I get this on my H90 ? is it a software update ? on synth all I have is Hotsawz and Synthonizer.
Yes. Go to the website and get the latest release of control, then navigate to the update page.

I get a similar sound with the Boss GM 800 and my Quad Cortex using my Godin that has 3 outputs, 13 pin, acoustic and electric. It sounds killer. Check my channel for an example. No, I’m not a RUclipsr. I made these to show a couple of people in a group.
I enjoyed the gm800 when I borrowed one. I'm impressed how well this Tesla without having to use a GK style pickup.
