Nice.I use natural twine to make tiny plants. Poke a hole in the terrain the diameter of the twine, glue the twine into the hole with white glue (or PVA) cut it to the desired height (usually ankle- or knee-high to the model soldiers) then unbraid, unwrap, and separate the twine strands. I make imine a little bit "stiffer" by brushing a light coat of white glue thinned out very thinly with water; later paint also adds some stiffening to the fibres. The separated, teased, bent fibers look very good as small brushy plants.

NO. Do NOT use these instruction with a "wood base" the water in the recommended clay WARPS the wood. I just found out today.
I have done it several times and nothing had happened? Mabye try again with another wood type.
