Looks nice. A little retro futuristic. The back of it reminds me a bit of the Generation that I have, in a good way.

i agree with that, it does have a retro and futuristic look. and exactly, i think there was some influence from the generation for the back material. that’s why i even took the risk to spend the money on this one because the generation chairs were at the office i worked at in st. louis, and those are very comfortable.

Nice overview. I'm about to buy one. Very, very comfortable. I just wish you had the option to be fully upright, but it's perfect other than that.

appreciate it. yeah the seating position took a little getting used to for sure. but i will say, i’ve had it for over a week now and have used it a lot; full days of work and then editing for hours after work. it has made a huge difference for me.
i don’t know about you, but in a normal chair i have a tendency to want to lean forward which puts my body in this odd/uncomfortable position; noticeable neck and back strain. but the way this is shaped it helps my posture by keeping me in that natural curve position, with my head up and shoulders somewhat back.
having that full stretch position has been super nice after sitting for awhile too.

Do you think this would make a good chair for gaming? I’m about to replace my Secret Lab chair and it’s currently between the Herman Miller Embody and the Haworth Fern chairs. Also welcome to Seattle!

thank you, i'm really enjoying seattle! and that's a hard question to answer because it really depends on what you're looking for in a chair. the secret lab chair looks like it allows you to sit in a more straight back position. do you like that?
i love the knoll. it's everything i hoped it would be, especially with it being at the price point it's at. the seating position did take a little getting used to though because it's really not like other chairs i've sat in. but once you adapt to it, it is very comfortable; the back of the chair stays cool and i have no pain after sitting for long periods of time. the different settings are also awesome! really lets you customize to however you like to sit throughout the day. currently it is discounted at 20% off on their website.
i'll also add that i have a friend who needs/was looking for more lumbar support and he bought the haworth fern and really likes it.

What do you think about other colors, ink or graphite?

out of those two I’m probably leaning towards graphite with the chrome base because it’s more unique.

Been waiting for them to go on sale, now just trying to decide on the config. I like the plastic base but you can’t get it in the armless version.

@@flonoughtGraphite speaks to me but I have a white Sayl now and have stained the back with denim and leather, so maybe Ink. Looks like you have Umber which is the more creative choice but doesn’t go with my stuff.

@@endquotedotcom nice. well, wish you the best with your decision. graphite was my second choice, that shows off the lines of the chair well too.
