    I have the tub & chiller and it also sits outside all day everyday in the Florida sun. Working beautifully 6 months later, just plunged this morning! 🙌🏼

    I got the barrel cold plunge from Ice Up Industries a few days ago and I was super impressed with the way it was packaged, how it was shipped, assembly instructions as well as instructions for the control panel and sanitizer kit. It works really well. I’m 5‘10inches, wide shoulders etc and weigh 240 pounds, and I feel super comfortable in it and have more than enough room. What I also like is when you call somebody answers the phone or call you back and they genuine seem to care. I’ve spoken with Lucas and with Corey and these guys are great and they have a phenomenal product. I highly highly recommend it.

    Ayeee glad it's working just fine after all this time. I have a drop stitch tub version of the barrel from a different brand. It's in the florida sun 24/7 as well and hoping I'll never have to replace it.
    I had a spare chiller and gave it to my friend to get into cold plunging after he got one of those $60pod things off Amazon. I'd be thrilled to pass it on to him to complete his upgrade!

    I bought the barrel set up based on your enthusiasm for the barrel. It was a mistake as I am 78 yr old. Not very flexible. Really hard for me to get in and out almost dangerous. Bought a tub so much better. Ice up gave me a deal on it since you cannot return items only if not unpacked. Saw another video post purchase. He recommended the tub. Too late. So far unit has performed well.
    Chiller is quit nosy. Put my tub in my garage. Not sure if my neighbors would like the noise.

      I think the fact that you are 78 and cold plunging has earned the respect from anyone who reads your comment.
      Great feedback, I didn’t even think of that. Invite them over to try it out! ❤️

    any thoughts on how to clear an e6 error? (water flow) I cant seem to get rid of all the air from the filter, no matter how long i put a hose to the inlet or outlet tubes. any suggestions are welcomed.
    thanks -

    My pump died. If you have the money I would save more. Really bummed about it. Was cool when it lasted. Even changed the filter every 10 days. Maybe I got a lemon.

    How does this compare to the edge tub? Seems super similar but half the price and doesn’t have an app to control it
    Both seem to have the hot cold feature which is great!

    • @DavidMausJr
      @DavidMausJr  4 месяца назад +1

      Edge is the tub and chiller I’ve had most trouble with. Why I haven’t made any updated videos on it (can’t keep it running)

    • @ExoticIdiotics
      @ExoticIdiotics 4 месяца назад +1

      The app/bluetooth functionality is the only real difference---well, that and the fact that the Ice Up chiller seems to just keep on trucking no matter what...and it's half the price of the Edge. Honestly, I have never once had a moment when I thought to myself "man, I wish I could adjust my cold plunge temp without walking over to my tub". I personally think that's an unnecessary feature that sounds great in theory, but ultimately won't be used after you find your desired temp. My Ice Up is working flawlessly after about 9 months (I think mine delivered a day or 2 after David released his original review video), and I have only done a full water change once, change the filter cartridges as needed, and only ever add food grade hydrogen peroxide. I also hit the ozone/uv button after every plunge. It's a fantastic value and their customer service is top notch!

      @@DavidMausJr this helps a lot. Looking forward to getting started with plunging here shortly for the summer. I’m in Tampa Florida, so not quite as hot as Miami, but it does get very very toasty.
      Only other question about the ice up was I have seen some reviews that the chiller is very noisy and doesn’t have a function to keep the water flowing without the chiller running. Is this true?

    • @SamCrawford34
      @SamCrawford34 4 месяца назад

      @@ExoticIdiotics that is all I needed to hear. Thank you so much for sharing. Do you keep yours running constantly or do you turn it off and let the water sit when you’re not using? I have heard their chiller is very noisy when running.

      @@SamCrawford34 mine runs 24/7 and the fan doesnt run when the chiller isnt on. Not sure who said that or why but that hasnt been my experience.

    I’ve had the Iced Up Industry since February. I’ve noticed after awhile the chiller has gotten louder and the water inflow from the chiller to the tub has decreased to the point where it’s barely even shooting water into the tub. I’ve changed the water out twice since February and each time I’ve primed the chiller how the setup video instructed. The system works fine and has great water flow and isn’t as for about 3 to 4 weeks. Then the flow starts decreasing and the machine gets louder (like a whining noise). Has this happened to you?

    • @SteveK-fh2sg
      @SteveK-fh2sg 2 месяца назад

      i cant stop the e6 error from coming up right now, waiting on a good answer to help. i change filter every few weeks as they suggested. the e6 has to do w water flow error. idk.....
