I always thought Dr Claw wore a giant scary cat mask that changes his voice and that's why we never see his face in the cartoon. But that figure of him does fit the villain and his face 😈
Wow i didn't know Inspector Gadget had so many toys. I only had the Burger King ones. I like that Brain figure. He and Penny were the real heroes of the show :)
This brings back so many memories. I had one of those years ago. This was a time when Inspector Gadget was still rerunning on Nickelodeon in the early 90's (1991-1992); however, at the same time, it also aired as a filler on CBS's Saturday afternoon lineup right after Where's Waldo? during the 1991-92 seaosn, so that could have been why Burger King chose to feature it in its kids' meals. I seen all 4 of those at the thrift store today.
Inspector gadget was rerunning from October 1 1987 to April 30 2000 and the last new Inspector gadget episode and first new episode to air on nickelodeon was Inspector gadget saves Christmas. I could be wrong.
I can’t imagine how big a Gadget toy would need to incorporate EVERYTHING, let alone suggesting they should have done so in the 1980s or 90s! The engineering would be insane!!

I still remember the day when i was 4 years old and my mom bought me for my birthday the inspector gadget Galoob 1983 figure my mind blowed away how good this figure was back in his time with all his gadgets features unfortunately i dont have it anymore R.I.P my toy. But last summer I bought the blitzway version just him not the deluxe with the statues(The new one was present for my birthday again from my mom what desjavou situation😂) .Maybe the bitzway doesnt have any really gimmick but i love it so hard is the best version i could ever ask for myself. I grew up watching all the great 80s cartoon shows but INSPECTOR GADGET is my all time favourite show📺❤️. Thats all my friend and thank you to share with us your amazing Go Go Gadget collection. 👍👍👍👍
I gotta admit not having to see these toys back then as me and my cousins were so into japanese mecha series until the G.I. Joe and Transformers came around.
These were off the shelves by the time I started paying any attention in 1996 but yes there are many other great options that distract from inspector gadget
Strange it took them so long to produce decent merchandise based on this show. It was a hit upon release, but like you said we didn't get an actual toyline untill a decade later. And we didn't even get a comic book until 2011. With a hit show they usually try to strike while the iron is still hot, but they really dragged their feet on a lot of the tie in products for some reason.
Did you know that cycle gadget has a heomet for penny just like the crash plane with parachute and aviator cap or the motorcycles with helmets made for the crash dummies?

Did u know there was an inspector gadget police station mad headquarters playset and bubble gadget strech gadget police whistle scuba gadget talking gadget doll Tank suit brains scooter glider gadget gadget cycle cbv exploding phone and chief Quimby mad gyro copter and mad mobile that never saw the light of day?

Yeah I was a little kid in the early 90's and Inspector Gadget was one of the most aired cartoons, so the toy line came out at a perfect time for me
