I think CZ's are head spaced to work better with SK ammo. It would be interesting to try a .002" - .003" bolt shim to see if it shoots the Eley better.
Three years ago Eley would grade Tenex and if a batch failed that high standard it would go into a Eley Match box.If it failed lower than the Match standard it went into a Eley Team box.RWS do the same with their match grade ammunition because it cost too much to dispose of it and it can’t be recycled. However,in the last three years Eley stopped selling Eley Team so guess what box those rounds are going into?
Two many flyers in the eley ammo. I shot 19 targets today at 50yrds and 18 out of 19 was under 0.5 thousands the ammo I used was sk rifle match and center x. That was 5 round groups. Beagleman
I think this is probably the best video that I've seen regarding lot testing to show variance in the same type of ammo, well done! I'd love to see the same test with Lapua X-Act, however I do understand if the cost is prohibitive. I suspect that your CZ would be a one holer with X-Act.
Nice video! I shoot long range with a group of friends . We shoot out to 350yds . Were mostly shooting eley match. It's about 8 inches of vertical in 24 fps difference in bullet speed. If you can chronograph your ammo while testing your lots you might can get better long range performance with a smaller spread of velocity. Good luck.
I did have six czs and I gave my brother one so he could have a cz457 target rifle but I have tried all kinds of eley ammo and a cz will not shoot in a cz lapua ammo is the way to go with czs believe me eley will not shoot in czs. Beagleman
You can order them from the Czech Republic with $25 shipping fee.

I think you need to retest the first lot anytime you test. It's always you worst lot. I think its aways a cold and clean barrel problem not that lot
Makes sense. Thanks for pointing that out.

Lapua / SK products are almost impossible to find. If it becomes available to me I will try and do some lot testing with it. Thanks for watching.
