Thank you for the video! I am checking if the administration allows me to have one in the balcony. I live on a 5th floor. I suppose it should be fine :)
I don’t have a, yet. I would say that it doesn’t matter which ice bath you have, from beginner to pro, none of them will maintain cold water during the summer (hot) months. I’ve tried all sorts and a chiller is absolutely the only way to maintain cold water. There are plenty of great options out there as far as chiller units go, but I’m yet to try one out for myself.
@@HarryAllsop ah okay thanks, I was looking into some chillers but they are so expensive. I thought maybe an aquarium chiller is the way to go they are a bit cheaper but I don’t think they last that long outside. I live in Germany and the weather is rainy for a long time… do you think the upgrade was worth it? I haven’t been in my tub for about 2 months since it is simply to warm for me.
I really do prefer this new tub - just having more room and the solid construction make it a better experience for me personally. Also, it has the inlet and outlet incase I do get a pump. If you do go ahead and get a pump, I have a code for Lumi that can get you 15% off, it’s just my name - HARRYALLSOP I’d be interested to hear your experience if you do get a chiller unit!
@@HarryAllsop do you also feel that the new tub makes a difference in holding in the cold better? I will keep your code in mind. The only problem is that the pod + chiller costs more than 1k and that is a bit to much for me right now:/
@@SergeantHelm not at all, I'm sorry to say. That was my hope in getting one of these pro pods. The only true way to keep it cold is a chiller, but they are fairly pricey and that too is what is stopping me from getting one right now. I'd absolutely love to jump in an ice cold pod right now as it's 25 degrees in the UK!
Thank for the reciew. Do you know where i could buy the external valves in order to conect the hose to the lumi pod
You’d be best off reaching out to Lumi direct for this one.

You should hopefully be fine, I’ve seen plenty of people using them in balcony’s, but you’re right to enquire first.
Looks awesome, I am thinking of upgrading myself but I think I have to first invest into a chiller. Do you use one?
