Yes, it's a limited edition called ....... yep ..... edition .... werid? yeah, a little odd in our opinion but there you go.
We let you know our honest thoughts on the car and give you the ins and outs of the car including a full drive covering all key bases.

But yes at around 7 minutes in for a brief period I talk a little like it has adjustable dampening and yes it doesn’t, I was, did know and was well aware these are equipped with 2 way KW coilovers which I did mention in a text overlay in the vid.
These cars have a hydraulically-activated electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD) and selectable Drive Modes and it massively makes the car almost feel like it has adjustable dampening it’s weird.
The LSD and steering feel far too aggressive in race imo on bumpy roads, very bizarre indeed and I wish I could explain it better.
I will be getting another drive in this and should be having it for longer next time around.
What is better car for every day living .. Fiesta ST Edition or Focus ST Edition..I have chance to buy on of them😊
Personally for everyday use I think the Focus ST 🙌❤️

Good review. When you were talking about the dampening feeling too hard I immediately thought our Fiestas with standard springs.

Got mine last friday, love it so much. Such a great car all around. What impressed me the most actually are the iLED headlights, those are some black magic sh!t I can't even comprehend how those work. 😂
Since it's a new car I didn't really push too hard yet, but I'm getting 8.7L/100km (27.04 mpg) which is pretty good imo.

Yeah I got told about them, wish I got to drive it in the dark, there is a good chance Ford UK may be able to lend me one for a lot longer than a day next time I get to have it so I’ll definitely try it then. I love mine. It’s a sensible daily driver and got a stonking deal due to the amount of positive equity had in my performance edition fiesta st. They are very limited in numbers though. If you get chance to get one you won’t be disappointed
Would be an epic car to have no doubt, I pushed it hard on those roads and it ate them up, such a fun chassis and pleasure to drive. Yeah won’t be easy to get one now, I’d say to anyone if they want one and can get 1 yeah 100% get one! Thanks for watching fella!

I’m good thanks bud, now in an RS3 and a Cupra Born, very happy with both.
The RS3 is very different to the FK8 but overall awesome also 🫶
How would you compare to the Honda Civic Type R?
As a drivers tool its the closest thing that's come to the FK8 Civic Type R.
I think for everyday use the FK8 can be more comfortable.
Great car, anything that can come close in my eyes is amazing, love my drive in this so much.

The new Ford Focus ST Edition is only available in select European markets.
Because of the same painful decision that Ford took in 2018 when they decided to stop selling all fun performance cars in the US and stick to just SUVs and trucks.Also, complying with US emission norms happens to be the nail in the coffin. The hard truth is that the Ford Focus ST Edition is forbidden fruit and the only way to get hold of one, is to migrate right away to the UK!
This is the best car performance, comfort and design!
I love it!
I hope they keep it like this, tamed, and dont go nuts like the japanese did in the last years with their cars lookin like a picasso.

Revised 2022 model has badge on grille and 13 inch touch screen......your in an outgoing model. Matrix headlights and front indicators have changed also rear led lamps, too. If you have just collected your Focus ST, then your car has depreciated even more. Orders for the revised model have just started.....
I only get invited to media events and of course do my own research.
My basic understanding is this was a limited run car and you can’t get them anymore.
It is possible your right, sometimes we can even get version that doesn’t make it to production as such and/or some items are missing or get changed it a purchasable version.

The very few focus ST Editions that have appeared on AutoTrader have far from depreciated. It's a limited edition I suspect to be alot less than the 300 widely reported as being. Very enjoyable video, thankyou.

Funny enough just commented about the lack of time we had with this car. Always have 3 cameras going and one was on the dash …. As that failed 🤦♂️

The ST is fully worth its money....just choose the factory soft to 330 hp and it will be enough....
Totally agree! Absolute love them, one of my favourite hot hatches now in this generation of build.

@@hirayaman246 I think your right, it’s between that and the i30N the latter is more wild but imo the Focus is more accomplished and gives a much better general ride especially for daily use.
@@PeakPerformanceReviews The hyundai N is nowhere near the ST....lets not forget that the ST engine is actually a RS 350 hp engine tuned for emissions.....the torque specs are some of the best in its class ( 2.0 engines), and with this new generation, Ford have solved the old issues with the engine....
With some little extra money, you can have the best 330 hp and the highest torque in its class ( except maybe the 2.5 liter from audi) at the best price...
@@hirayaman246 I don't think there are the same pistons inside like they were in RS. I own one st edition but I don't think ford is so generous to lower HP only with tune compared to RS engine.
When I worked at ford I remember a lot failure of these engines in the rs mk3
Unfortunately also know a lot of people first hand that had or have MK3 RS’s that have had problems too.
I know or was told year on year there were revisions so it’s quite possible this has a lot of revisions. I can’t be certain but I wouldn’t be surprised, would need to ask or try to find out mind.
That was because ford changed the cooling passages for the RS, but used the same old gasket designed for the ecoboost mustang. It's not the engine being bad, it was a seriously dumb mistake on Fords end and has since been fixed. Only the early RS models were effected, the engine isn't problematic in the mustang or st.
@@cy9nvs I had a late 2018 edition fail at 7000 miles and needed a new engine

@@cy9nvs yep this is what my friend who works for big Ford tuner told me too.
If there’s issues they always make revisions anyway. I’ve heard good things so far from Focus ST owners for this gen 🙌👌😎

Well it’s what I was getting but yeah I guess if you are none stop for 2hr you’ll be in the 20’s lol but those 20’s in other cars would probably be 14-19mpg it’s a mega frugal car when pushed.
