They swept the Grammy's with their album "Taking The Long Way" Winning all 5 categories they were nominated in. Their last album and the first they had a hand it with co-writing all of the songs. They have toured since then and FINALLY they are now recording a new album.
Try, "March, March." It is a serious, seasoned song with maturity and a completely different sound. It was released last year and is powerful, although once again controversial. Love it or hate it, it has an undeniable message and the music and vocals are stellar! "If your voice held no power, they wouldn't try to silence you." Watch the official video, though, the imagery makes it more impactful than you can imagine. Natalie sings it right in the song ... "half of you love me, half already hate me."
Please do “Not Ready to Make Nice” by the Dixie Chicks or “March, March” that came out during the BBM marches last year. If you’d choose “Not Ready...” understand these women withstood things done to their career by men that no man in country music could have withstood. They were also the first real case of “cancel culture” and death threats for political activism.
New sub here and y'all make me smile! Think about Demi Lovato Womens billboard music awards, Stone Cold. Will NOT disappoint! Thanks guys...keep it up!
Dixie Chicks. Great songs but the singer, Natalie took the band down by not knowing when to keep her mouth shut. They were performing overseas and she was taking a political stand against President George W. Bush...not good for Country artists. The Country music community are a very patriotic group. A war was going on after 9/11. Immediately, Country radio banned them (at least in Texas). And, that was it. Free speech yes, but know when it’s appropriate.
Protest is as American as it gets. I love that she spoke her mind. More artists should do that. Let the chips fall where they may. ruclips.net/video/xwBjF_VVFvE/видео.html
She doesn’t need to keep her mouth shut, she’s not anybody’s role model. People need to learn to be able to not be bothered by others’ personal views and do their own thing.

One person's loss is another person's gain. As country artists, they weren't widely known in Europ. I had no idea who they were, but am a big fan now.

Sounds like you need to shut your trap. In hindsight they were completely right, Bush and the war against terror was a complete disaster.
I guess "patriotic" is one word for it.
