In Bangalore it is like that only. Every where Nandini ghee is used.
For the last 3 months whenever I visit Bangalore, I have my breakfast and dinner at their Indira Nagar branch. Food is delicious especially Ghee idly, Venpongal, Multi Grain Dosa..It's mostly crowded and you can see a long queue on the weekends. I set an alarm in the morning and go there at 6 am :) Thank you for reviewing this amazing eatery.

Last week I visited the Indiranagar branch of Rameswaram cafe at about 7 pm intending to taste "Akki rotti". Before billing when the cashier checked with the kitchen staff about availability, the reply was negative and I ordered for veg biriyani (take out) and when I was waiting for my parcel to my surprise could see "Akki rotti" being served and I felt very disappointed. Further, the quantity of biriyani did not match the price.

I have visited and enjoyed the food here. Awesome food. The only food like Tamil Nadu food available in Bangalore is Rameswaram cafe. Bangalurians add more ghee in the food. So is Rameswaram cafe.
Please try sendhoor coffee in Koramangala. My goto place for tamilnadu style food

As it is B'lore is a great place for S Indian food varieties, predominantly TN and AP items. Rameswaram is a wonderful joint for quality food. I have been a regular, here.

In Trichi , Thanjavur and Srirangam u hv covered many Veg hotels serving too tasty refreshments. Only few hotels nowadays maintain the old traditions in making these items. I stay very near to this place. We try atleast once a week. Hygienic place with reasonable price. Too much crowd is the only issue.

Agree. Bangalore has overtaken Chennai in terms of tiffin offerings - in quality, pricing, in ambience and in varieties. There are so many individual outlets and chains that are very successful bcoz of their quality and "customer first" attitude.
