Finally got my EXP-R today! Playing Tanzer while watching this! 😁 I plan on picking up this cart because of the oddness and variety of the titles. Another great video brother!
Thought you’d like Edward Randy! Never played it myself, but it’s one of the reasons I look forward to this collection. J&M Returns seems fun too! The new carts are delayed to Sweden, but I found one shop that had a few in stock anyway. With a little luck I’ll get them next week. The Nintendo 8-bit version of B-Wings is cool, you get to choose a wing every time you start a new life.
@bjornh1527 yeah, Edward Horny is so cool. I love all the tricks they use to make it seem grander. Gutted about games being delayed over there for people, but awesome you've found somewhere to get them 😁
Two Crude (Two Crude Dudes on Sega) is what you were thinking of. Bad Dudes (Bad Duds Vs Dragon Ninja) is the first game that features a couple other characters. It looks better on here than the version on my Switch (Retro Classix 2in1), better resolution thus more crisp. While B-Wings does look basic, I think it may be more fun than I expected, seems you need to use your brain a bit more than the others that rely more on pure reflexes. The car driving towards the screen with the columns flying by in Edward Randy reminds me of Space Harrier but going in the opposite direction and the fighting on the front of the trucks just after makes me think of Metal Slug a little, especially with all the death yells. Seeing Express Raider here shows me where the indie game Speed Limit took some inspiration from. If you like Express Raider then do check out Speed Limit which will be a lot more fun.
Whereas the Toaplan 3 Arcade Collection is really high quality the Data East 2 cart will probably have a wider appeal and there's a lot of fun games on there. Great video as always Steve!
@aboyandhisdogRE I challenge you to try Super Burger Time and Peter Pepper's Ice Cream Factory on your Alpha as they're only really playable with a joystick :-) I've been a fan of these games since back in the day when we had the Ocean knock off version called Mr Wimpy.
@aboyandhisdogRE yup. The controls on midnight resistance take a bit of getting used to. I was the same as you on that one. I did manage to get through the game but I prefer the megadrive controls for sure

@jayme69 as usual, my friend, you speak the truth. Except for burger and ice cream, they can go do one 🤣🤣🤣

@jayme69 😱😱😱😭😭😭
it's an interesting collection, some might be growers. I can't stand the ice cream factory game though.
@@genejoke8538 gene, I'm totally with you on the ice cream game 😱 uugh
