I am a 64 year old Muslim from Singapore. I truly enjoy watching the places that you visited. Thank you for introducing China to us. I hope to visit your country one day. In Shaa Allah:)
Anisah, I greatly recommend that you visit this amazing country. I lived in the USA and can say China is many years ahead of the US in all technologies and infrastructure development. It is the most modern country in the world with endless natural wonders and beauty. The people are vastly intelligent and humane. I am 83 now and regret that I cannot visit China again as I did in 2017. Assalam wa Alaikum my friend.
I am a Muslim from The Philippines. Its sad that many Muslims dont know how to practice being a Muslim. Thanks that you do these videos, this way Muslim Scholars may watch these and it might be addressed. Insha Allah! But grandma show how Muslim are being hospitable too. Thank you Grandma for being kind to this couple!
Assalamualaikum. Hi Viona! Don’t feel embarrassed to be in hijab. I’m frm Malaysia and have travelled to Beijing before the MCO. There were few people who did stare at us in the subway and on the street but that made us be more proud to be moslems for Allah 😍. In time, many more will know and understand us in wearing hijab InshaaAllah. Keep up the postings, I enjoy learning Moslems life in China!❤
No matter what color, race, language. Muslims are like one body. May Allah help all Muslims and grant them success in this world and the hereafter. Ameen Love from Karachi Pakistan 🇵🇰✌️
Grandma is a very good kindhearted person…. A good Muslim in deeds hope Allah Swt gives her guidance and forgive her for her lack of knowledge of Islamic rituals of prayer etc due to lack of exposure n human guidance…. But she is the embodiment of a good Muslim in looking after the two young travellers…May Allah Swt bless her.. aamiin…
Aww the grandma is soo nice. Oldwatch Ma, you were right about saying not to criticize others so easily, but i can't help feeling bad about these Hui brothers not having enough knowledge about Islam. They're already nice people thinking Islam is only a ethnicity, how much more if they learn about Islam being a way of life. They'll probably make the best muslims. Today's friday and i pray to Allah SWT that His guidance reach these people. Ameen.
MashaAllah Viona looks so pretty in hijab 😍 If you start to wear for a few days and ask Allah for help, you will see that Allah will help you gain confidence to wear it on public InshaAllah ❤ It's so fascinating to learn about a completely different muslim culture!
Both mosque is beautiful , amazing dome structure n beautiful unique design architecture mosque mix combaine with chinese traditional motif-local culture , respect n salute to chinese muslim community , terima kasih-thx-xie xie to both you for made n share this content , tetap sehat vit stamina untuk kalian ber2-dua keep healty , sending smile n good spirit to you n your family from jkrta
TQVM. MR & MRS MA for showing around " people & village " 1st time i see this beautiful vedio in MALAYSIA : such having a warm- heart that " grand-ma" send regard if you see her again:
Salam! I deeply empathise with you when you suggested to think about why Muslims in Dachang Country may not be considered "Muslims" by other Muslims and asked your viewers not to start criticising. That is such a problem amongst the global ummah right now - quick to judge and condemn based on their own narrow viewpoints. Love your videos, keep it up!
Mashallah that was amazing… Grandma Ma is wonderful!!! Typical example of a kind Muslim. Bosnia was the same before the war. Now people have woken up and there are hundreds upon hundreds of mosques.. many young women wearing hijab
Assalamualaikum. I'm from India. I love your videos I never miss a single video. Your wife is so beautiful I love you viona ❤️ you're soo prettyyy.🌷 May Allah (swt) bless you both with good health, wealth, happiness, love & joy... Ameen ❣️
This is probably my favorite video of yours so far ❤️ that grandma is the perfect embodiment of Chinese hospitality and Muslim warmth combined, I just love her. It's things like this that made me fall in love with China since the first time I visited the country, the warmth and spontaneous curiosity of people.
There are over 10,000 mosques in China and some of them are even over one thousand years old. They have been preying in these mosques over many generations.
The grandma is soo wholesome!! And Viona doesn't need to be afraid to wear the hijab. She is so beautiful! And the granny is right: the less people wear something, the cooler it is. There is a reason why people try to be out of mainstream. And I am loving your long vlogs! Please make more of them!!
They no need your imams with extremism n talibxnusm- hui muslims are chinese people first, and advanced and modern NOT pretend Arab like indons and malais- dirty and backward
mawlid is bidah, many people in china lack islamic knowledge and just copy from forefathers, to the extent that they priotise this over praying salah and fasting
Assalamualaikum warahmatullaahi wabarakatuh I'm A muslim woman from Indonesia, but I'm a Chinese woman too, I'm 56 yo, I like watching your RUclips contents, I hope someday in the future I can go to Beijing China ❤

Mashallah you and uour wife look soo beautiful, may allah keep you both together happy ❤❤ it was very courageous of your wife to wear hijab in public but it was nice to see she got good reaction, may it be easier for her and more accepted by others, 🥰🥰 this video was very informative and i would love to visit here as a muslim girl 😊😊
A very unique and interesting journey! Rarely seen elsewhere, and I've seen many documentaries about Chinese Muslims. Keep it up! I must say, even the county level, 40 Kilometers away from Beijing, seems quite developed. No garbage on the streets, and some beautiful architecture. Muslim countries can learn from this.
We need more daawah in China... Chinese-speaking Muslim preachers & daakwah really need to be & educate Hui minorities to stay strong & keep the Islamic Faith. You both are making a difference now. May Allah SWT make you both strong & keep on introducing Chinese Muslims to the world. May Allah SWT reward you guys. Love from Malaysia.

I used to work and live in Peking back in the early 80s. My office building was called Guoji julebu, next to the CITIC building on Jianguomen Wai Avenue. Is the building still there? Your video brought back so many memories of my life in Peking. My hangouts with friends were at the Beijing fandian, Minzu fandian, Youyi shangdian, Ritan fandian, Great Wall hotel, etc. Walking and shopping along Wangfujing was always an exciting adventure. One Summer, a group of us bicycled from Beijing fandian to the Summer Palace and back. What an exhilarating as well as exhausting experience! We were bicycling along with the locals, who at that time were all wearing the blue or green Mao Zedong outfit. Bicyclists everywhere. And the smog was bad. I am a Muslim originally from Singapore, but have been living in the US for over 37 years. My husband and I just returned from spending three months in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Grandma is just purest form of love n affection. No matter if she can read Quran or not but Islam is deeply rooted in her. Alhamdulillah
Some fundamentalist Muslims will see her as a reprobate Muslim because she is not wearing a hijab, or worse, a burqa.
I am a 64 year old Muslim from Singapore. I truly enjoy watching the places that you visited. Thank you for introducing China to us. I hope to visit your country one day. In Shaa Allah:)
