Anisah, I greatly recommend that you visit this amazing country. I lived in the USA and can say China is many years ahead of the US in all technologies and infrastructure development. It is the most modern country in the world with endless natural wonders and beauty. The people are vastly intelligent and humane. There were few people who did stare at us in the subway and on the street but that made us be more proud to be moslems for Allah 😍. A very unique and interesting journey! Rarely seen elsewhere, and I've seen many documentaries about Chinese Muslims. Keep it up! I must say, even the county level, 40 Kilometers away from Beijing, seems quite developed. No garbage on the streets, and some beautiful architecture. Muslim countries can learn from this.
We need more daawah in China... Chinese-speaking Muslim preachers & daakwah really need to be & educate Hui minorities to stay strong & keep the Islamic Faith. You both are making a difference now. My wife attended undergraduate and graduate school in Guangzhou for 6 years. 5 years ago we went there from Malaysia for a reunion with her ex-classmates. Visited the Huacheng mosque and she told me how to look for Xinjiang people because Xinjiang eateries are halal. I had always wanted to visit China but I couldn't because I didn't even know where to start (China is so big!), what to look for and how to speak the language. I could only do so after meeting my Chinese wife.
Thanks for sharing this! Please do share more of these historic places contents. I am very interested in Muslim places in China, old silk road from Muslim perspective, etc that I feel it’s hard to see in media, pretty sure others would agree too.
