there is no single and unique standard thing called Hans before late Qing Dynasty. So it's nonsense logic to say hui people come from Hans.
And how does millions of people convert to muslim in ancient china? So Hui people obviously formed by persians from central Asia. Also so many married with local Northern chinese people( of course not just Hans. )

    [From chatGPT]
No, the Hui people are not Persian. The Hui are a predominantly Muslim ethnic group in China, recognized for their unique cultural blend of Islamic and Chinese traditions. Their ancestry includes a mix of various ethnicities, including Han Chinese, Arab, Persian, and Central Asian origins.
Here's a brief overview of their background:
    1. **Historical Background**: The Hui people trace their roots to Muslim traders, soldiers, and scholars who came to China from Persia, Central Asia, and the Arab world, particularly during the Tang, Song, and Yuan dynasties. Over time, these Muslim immigrants intermarried with local Han Chinese, leading to the formation of the Hui identity.
    2. **Cultural Assimilation**: Unlike some other Muslim ethnic groups in China, the Hui are highly sinicized, meaning they have adopted many aspects of Han Chinese culture, including language, dress, and customs, while maintaining their Islamic faith.
    3. **Geographic Distribution**: The Hui are widely distributed across China, with significant populations in provinces like Ningxia, Gansu, Xinjiang, Qinghai, and Yunnan. Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is an official administrative region specifically designated for the Hui people.
    4. **Religious Practices**: The Hui practice Islam, and their religious practices are similar to those of Muslims worldwide. They build mosques, follow Islamic dietary laws (halal), and observe Islamic festivals like Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
In summary, while the Hui people's ancestry includes Persian elements, they are a distinct ethnic group with a rich history of cultural integration and assimilation within China.

Incorrect, Hui are descendants of Persians who later assimilated into Chinese culture and married local Chinese woman and became Chinese.

@@D2E80 No, there is no facial similarities Between persian and hui people atleast little portion . Hui are ethnic chinese Muslim but chinese government don’t recognise them as han chinese . Islam entered China in 638 AD older than persian to be Muslim. The most oldest mosque outside of Arabia is in China, xian.

@@ramzan6949 lol are you not understanding what I said? Hui muslims are now fully assimilated due to racial mixing! Their DNA clearly shows they have dual ancestry of Persian and Chinese ancestry. This is common knowledge

@@D2E80 there is no difference between hui and han chinese. Genetics also says this. Persian aren’t mongoloid people, if they have persian ancestry why they aren’t get a little bit of persian look. They are chinese.

Hui Muslims are once thought to be descended from Middle Eastern Muslim merchants, adventurers and drifters who settled down in China and married Han Chinese women. Genetic tests had shown that they are predominantly of East Asian descent especially on paternal descent. This meant the Hui Muslims are descended from East Asian men and women who converted to Islam. Only a small minority has Middle Eastern genetic markers. Hui Muslims are classified as Han Chinese that practice Islam as their religion. Their Islamic culture has strong Han Chinese cultural influence with little Middle Eastern influence.
