I love watching videos of people who play really well and don't have a super flashy production (I do like flashy productions) but you videos really show forth that you just love playing and mastering the guitar and the obsession over the 'best' gear isn't focused on. Keep up the great work!
Unprocessyncatto? :D But yeah that sounds sick. It's a nice spin on the percussive strumming thing. And does sound similar but still different. I like it.
Wait what?? How do you make it sound so percussive with just the fingers?? 😅. I can do with the pick like Manuel Fernandez, but yours is more economical approach and less stressful to the wrist I think. A good one to have in the chops toolbox for sure!
It's a lot about compression, and the tone is a blend containing an acoustic amp that is very percussive. And yes this is a super relaxing technique but hard to be clean with it !
@@louis_barras yeah I imagine fumbling with my right hand fingers and hitting the other strings causing all “unclean” sounds if I tried it. 😆 but it is worth a try, and my wrist would thank me. Reminds me of Manuel's percussive strumming
