tyler hatzikian is a great surfer its good to see someone is keeping the traditional longboard style going in the surfing world today.

the 60's had a great surfing culture. Much more stylistic and easy on the eyes than the posturing modern shortboarders do.

That's understandable. I grew up surfing Seal Beach. It kind of has the same thing going on: dirty, polluted, crowded waves but good surfers there.

el porto=fun
I always hated El Porto. It's just like all the other L.A. spots I used to surf when I lived there. Crowded, polluted, and full of crazy scrubs who thought they could surf. It's a wonder why Tyler Hatzikian wastes his time there when there's so many other good longboard spots up and down the coast.

This whole thing started with me trying to make a comment about the water quality in California and not ripping on a surf spot that I have been to. Leave it up to the youtube wastrels to misconstrue something that isn't written in a 3rd grade vocabulary

Look who's talking. You mentioned Chevron being good to the water in El Porto. Talk about misinformed. Being a corporate cheerleader isn't going to help the water in your home break. But then again, you probably can't even handle issues in the abstract anyway. Piss off.
