I find that some of the Boss products are very difficult to use without any in depth tutorials to help the user understand the unit! If it’s to hard to use what good is it???
I don't use it as a standalone pedal. And it took me a while to dial it in. I like the EQ controls at 13% bass, 0% mid, 33% treble, 0% presence, 33% all. The delay with tap tempo works fine. I also like the looping and anti-feedback features. I appreciate the sub-controls for each effect. I prefer to run a separate acoustic resonance pedal at the front, then reverb ("ambience"), chorus, and other modulation in the effects loop. Pretty clean sound overall.
Can you tell me why every video I ask how to use the loop they go on and on about every thing else it does but the loop.or am I just supposed to know and where could I go to find out. And not just some guy stomping on a button without telling me what s going on
Please explain how to use a BOSS EV30 to control the output volume. Seems like the number one use for an expression pedal, but hooking the pedal up does...nothing. This video tells you what could be possible with the unit, great...but it doesn't inform toy about the 'how to'

I hope someone can answer this: When I plug two instruments (bouzouki and banjo in my case) and set the XLR output to CH in order to send two separete signals to the PA, those outputs are Post effects (and FX loop/send-return)? The italian and english manuals say "L: The sound of GUITAR IN 2 is output." and viceversa for the right output for guitar 1. That isn't clear and I can't find this answer anywhere! Hope someone can help!
I have send beatbuddy to fx-loop return on AD-10 but it sound heavy noise which it will clean after I turn off fx-loop , May I know how to fix this problem?
hi BOSS, I think there are big problem in AD-10. when I hv two guitar / two sound sources in one guitar, its ideal that i can make them with two independent output to PA. so I press menu->HS->CH mode, so I make it individual. the problem is, it is necessary to have FX in each channel, but the CH mode will bypass all fx, even fx loop. looking forward to the Solutions, appreciate!
So when you set the output xlr to CH all the effects built in the AD-10 and the FX loop (send-return) are turned off? What you get from the outputs are just two separate raw signals, as they came from the instrument?
@@andrealopomo8240 yes, the manual also said during CH mode, two separate dry signal will go to output directly. but at least I can still set two eq separately.
@@cephasshek that doesn't make any sense to me. I'd buy this unit to use it for two instruments, but without 2 separate outputs this lose a lot of possibilities
Hello, I bought this AD-10 machine. It is not a stereo output. Always equal left and right channels. I have not tried XLR output yet. The headphones are mono, and the individual outputs equals. The Stereo / Mono switch does not affect. What with this? Thanks. Vladimir

@@andrealopomo8240 yes, plan B is ask PA for the comp even reverb, or set the unbal output to CH mode , to another stereo DI after the pedals

Vladimir Koleckar it could only be stereo if using the chorus reverb or delay. Did you try that?
