Tegan Riley I know! Her character is literally disgusting. Oh, I catfished someone, kissed someone without their consent, sexually assaulted someone, made fun of my friend in front of the entire school, completely dissed the only person who’s ever hung out with me, faked a disability, but because I’m “ugly”, “fat” and a “loser” I can get away with everything because I wrote a song about flowers. She didn’t even APOLOGIZE to VERONICA OR JAMIE. The one person she DID apologize to was the person she hurt the least. Then, her apology was “I’m sorry I suck so much.” Again, she’s trying to make people pity her. She’s actually not unattractive, she’s not that fat, but she’s a loser because of her personality.
I agree that the ending should’ve been her single and made up with her friends. I just feel like they glossed over the problem of catfishing and kissing him without consent. It’s just too much.

The Dark Overlord I struggle with my weight constantly. I starved myself for months in the past without telling anyone my insecurities. I never felt pretty or skinny or anything. My comment wasn’t trying to shame anyone who struggled with their appearance, which I now see that it may come across that way. It was saying how no matter how insecure you are about how you look, it is not an excuse to be a jerk to people.
I mean..idk what you look like but regardless if you weren’t conventionally attractive, the way you talk or think ab yourself reflex on you and you should definitely think more highly of yourself :)

I had a terrible diet (Ate whole large pizzas by myself), and was involved in school sports, and I stayed - my specific - healthy weight range. Now, with quarentine, I don't get as much exercise, but I still do, and I eat healthy, but I gained 20 pounds. ╮( . ❛ ~❛.)╭
This. I actually would've liked it if the movie was focused on her. She had way more depth and interesting conflicts going on in her life. Like, she has an overbearing mother who clearly is projecting her old high school glory days onto her, she has to maintain a popular girl persona at school, she gets into relationships with shitty guys as a result of her crappy circumstances, etc. But she becomes a better person at the end. Veronica's movie would've been about a teenage girl who is forced to do and put up with crappy things she doesn't want, but learns to develop a backbone, embrace herself for whom she is, and stand up to her shitty mom and boyfriend. That's a way better coming-of-age story than a manipulative walking sack of greasy shit that is Sierra Burgess.
Yes. This. If Veronica started dating Jamie, it would make so much more sense, and it’d be so much more realistic. Like, Sierra should’ve gotten a restraining order, or at least been sued for sexual assault, AT LEAST.
@@jahidlm7910 Veronica did not like him at the beginning but once her character started to develop and she stopped caring about popularity it's implied that she could've liked him had it not been because she did not want to hurt Sierra. At one point in the movie Veronica says Sierra is lucky to have found a smart and nice guy, after she says this Sierra gets kinda jealous and asks Veronica if she likes Jaime. All of this on top of the fact that during her date with Jaime Veronica seemed to be touched by how nice and chivalrous he was because at the time the guy she was interested in was a douche. They had good chemistry and I absolutely agree on the fact that if Jaime had to end up with one of them Veronica would have been a much better choice however I'm not sure of how good their relationship could have been because they did not seem to have much in common.

actually the plot is taken from a classical piece of french literature called 'cyrano de bergerac' which basically does the same thing. Most movies also keep the original names of cyrano, chris, and roxanne pretty similar. once you know the trope you cant unsee it lol. in the original though, both chris and cyrano die.... so... take that how you will. cyrano was male in the original and a lot of other depictions of this story keep cyrano and chris as men

Pro tip: when you’re apologizing, don’t make it about you. “Sorry I suck so bad” isn’t a decent apology. That’s just guilt tripping by being down on yourself, making it about you and not what you did. If the self deprecation bit is genuine because you feel like you’re a sucky person for doing bad things, and you need that to be a part of the apology to express the shame you feel - mention it after taking responsibility and apologizing for the things you actually did wrong. Own up to the consequences of your actions, don’t victimize yourself. “Sorry I was a bad friend, and did those things. I suck” is worlds better, and even that’s half-assed and only just passable.

I hated this movie, especially Sierra, she’s a terrible person! I might have liked it better if the ending had been different but Sierra did not deserve to end up with Jamie... she catfished him! I don’t understand how this is supposed to be romantic, and I especially don’t understand why Jamie likes her... it’s ridiculous. I did like Veronica’s character arc, and Sierra’s best friend but that’s about all I liked. Felt really sorry for Jamie throughout the movie... that ending tho... it’s just infuriating.

Something that bothers me though is that, yeah she’s over weight, but she’s still really pretty and could easily get a boyfriend in real life. the casting call for these describe what appearance they’re looking for and and it’s the actors choice if they want to audition or not. they also do her makeup and dress her in a way that makes her a plain jane.
Possibly dead. That way Dylan would also get that murder he wanted to happen so badly. Maybe Veronica and Jamie made a deal to act like Sierra's friend and boyfriend because they want to murder her out of revenge. I'd actually love for this to be a sequel, 10/10 would watch, especially if Jamie and Veronica got together by the end of it.
1. Catfished him by talking to him without correcting him about who she is 2. Got the girl he thinks she is to fake webcam with him 3. PRETENDED TO BE DEAF and faked sign language 4. Convinced the other girl to go on a date with him, then followed them everywhere and listened in so she could feel like she was on the date too? 5. SEXUALLY ASSAULTED HIM by switching with the other girl and kissing him while his eyes were closed 6. Ignores/bails on her one real friend 7. Gets pissed off when the other girl kisses the guy, even though SHE SET IT UP FOR THEM TO BE FAKE-REAL DATING 8. Decides to get revenge on this other girl she's supposedly been friends with by being nasty and publicly humiliating her, doing so by interrupting the football game and ruining it for not only the guy she likes but also everyone else there in general 9. Loses everyone because of her own actions, so she sobs about how she's the victim here because HER life is so hard because she's not thin. I get that societal beauty standards send the message that like you're ugly/unworthy if you don't look a certain way, I do, but nothing that happened happened because of the way she looks. Everything that happened was because of her actions and the horrible things she did and the way she treated people. You can't do a bunch of awful things and then bring that up as an excuse and try to claim you're the real victim here because of how you look. So she... 10. Learned NOTHING about treating other people like objects for her own selfish benefit, lying, manipulating people, taking responsibility for her own actions 11. Is STILL manipulative as shit when she makes up with her best friend by doing this shitty, fake apology designed to get sympathy. "I'm sorry I suck." That's not a real apology. 12. Everybody just forgives her for no reason, she didn't even apologize to Veronica or Jamie, she gets her friends back, she gets the guy, and everybody lives happily ever after. Also, there was NO plan. There was no way for this to work out or for her to think it would work out except for her getting caught/having to come clean. Like she convinces this girl to webcam him, then go on a date with him (not to mention that at this point he thinks she's deaf...😑), so what was her plan? Why did she get that girl to go on a date with him, how was that supposed to help her get together with him? I guess when a lot of people catfish, they don't have a plan and they have to make it up as they go along, but there was no motivation for her to do that. There was no reasoning behind it. How was she expecting that to work out? I just don't get it. And she's an awful person who does awful things that she excuses with this perceived victimhood, she doesn't grow at all, doesn't say sorry, doesn't seem like she IS sorry for what she did, doesn't take any accountability, and gets forgiven and gets everything she wants. Hooray... But the soundtrack WAS good, that's about it.

I was fat and ugly in high school AND I was in orchestra. I dated two guys that were physically waaaayyy more attractive than me. The difference is I had a personality and I went to therapy that also addressed my low self esteem. If she tells her parents that she hates the way she looks and that it's impeding her happiness they should send her to therapy. That's a big deal. This is really damaging to girls who look like Sierra. We have fun, too.

Honestly people underestimate how normal catfishing has become. It freaked me tf out the first time i found out this girl was catfishing as a guy online, cuz i was genuinely attracted to him/her. But then people were like "its okay i understand" and that freaked me out soooo much more. But ive seen it happen multiple times now, that honestly this isn't far from reality. Which is insane. But to go along with the insanity for a moment, we all remember that time, or at least many of us who arent pretty, when we would consider finding a different pic to send to someone online, espeically if theyre a stranger. I remember when i was younger i literally collected pictures of girls who looked similar, it was crazy and i cant understand why i did it. Well i can, because im not pretty. She was being so evil throughout the movie and she never genuinely accepted that. At the end she always defended herself to get pity so people forgave her for the way she acted. Ew. She was the villain and Veronica was the hero. She changed into a better person.
Veronica was no hero. She helped Sierra catfish and she was a bully at the beginning. She even stayed friends with those horrible girls. She's just as bad.
The thing that bothered me most about this movie (besides the catfishing, assault, deaf-faking, and everything phobic jokes) is that at the beginning when Jamey texts her and she's like "Who is this?" and he sends her the picture of his face she doesn't immediately respond with something along the lines of "Sorry, I still don't know who you are." For whatever reason, she just starts talking to him like she knows why he's texting her and she doesn't find out for way too long that he thinks he's texting Veronica. Any normal person would have pretty quickly been like "Who exactly do you think you're texting?" unless they were going for a prank...
I honestly didn’t like how the whole plot was based on catfishing. I think the plot would be 1000x better if Jamey texted Sierra, but it was just a wrong number (but not a girls number, just like a friends number or something) and Sierra says “oh wrong number” but they continue talking. That way they can develop a relationship not based on lies and the plot can still be based on Sierra can be scared to reveal herself because of what she looks like. Sierra could have tutored Veronica and Veronica could help her with tips on how to talk to Jamey, and learn how to be more confident with herself and her image. Because honestly the lack of self-confidence thing could have been better, but it came across as fake. Sierra did an awful thing and you end up not even rooting for her. And they could even have them meet before the reveal too and have Jamey fall for the real her before he knows she’s the one on the phone and have him tied between these two girls, not knowing they’re the same one. When he finds out it’s her he could be mad because she wasn’t upfront with him and it caused him stress because he thought he had to choose between two girls or whatever.
the title of the movie gives it away. Sierra Burgess resembles the name of the original story Cyrano de Bergerac. This story is about 400 years old. And since then there are different variations of this story.
Anbessa Lea it’s nothing like Cyrano though. Cyrano never gets the girl in the end and he stays a good person through the whole story. The woman he loves is in love with a beautiful man and he actually helps that man (who also loves her) woo her. In the end she falls for his words but Cyr can’t reveal they were his, because the man dies before and he refuses to tarnish his memory. He’s punished for letting his insecurities get the best of him. Sierra is awful and still gets everything she wanted, it goes against every message of the original story
i wonder why she said she was deaf and not just spoke italian or french. bc she would’ve had the accent of the language so her voice wouldn’t have sounded the same and wouldn’t have been recognizable. also at least with a language she knows there wouldn’t be any awkwardness with her not knowing what she’s saying/doing

Then proceeded to try and humiliate Veronica, who was trying to help her, because she did something that wasn't her fault. It's effectively Sierra's fault for creating a situation in which Jamey kissing Veronica was bound to happen? I get the message that they're trying to put across with this movie but they could have gone about it in a much better way. Catfishing and deceiving (especially to this extent) and doing things without consent shouldn't be portrayed as things that's going to 'get you the guy' and like after the kiss scene, Sierra was shown so happy with herself, but it's so wrong. urgH idk I think they're unintentionally sending the wrong message.

Siera loses all of her friend and doesn’t get accepted into college because of what happened. Everyone els goes to college and pursues their careers while Siera lives with her parents, working in an office job. The end :)

That movie exist, actually several of those movies exist. The 80's seemed to produce those constantly, the guy is usually a skinny nerd though, for example Revenge of the nerds and Sixteen candles. And then there is of course The big band theory
I love how you had to point out the fact that the character is fat. If it was a skinny character, you would’ve never in a million years mentioned it. Just goes to show how fat people are still seen as anomalies in our society even though more than 60% of american men and women are overweight.

Dylan, when you said “this movie’s pissing me off”, I really felt that haha. This movie made me so angry for a multitude of reasons. Especially as a curvy girl myself, I feel like this movie definitely was not a victory for girls that look like me. The scene when she comes home after the football game and starts crying because it sucks for her to look like this and be in high school, was supposed to make us empathize with her actions. Honestly it just made me dislike her more; her appearance does not justify her horrible actions. Especially since the flip side is always drilled into our brains (“being pretty doesn’t give you the right to be mean”). After what she did to Veronica, I lost all respect for Sierra and I feel as though the movie did little to redeem her character. Not to mention, how unrealistic her make-up with Jamey was... Like I know the movie is trying to tell us that he would look past her appearance and fall for her, but after all she did I can’t buy that. Also, Jamey saying “you may not be everyone’s type, but you’re my type” really left a bad taste in my mouth. As if to say once again, girls like me just happen to be “someone’s type” and not regular girls that guys can fall for. You know what would’ve made a good story? If they’d actually stuck to the Cyrano de Bergerac themes. It could’ve gone like this: Veronica has a crush on Jamey. Unfortunately, he’s not only handsome, but very smart and she doesn’t think she could impress him. So she asks Sierra to help her woo him. Sierra agrees and helps her study and write messages to him. Throughout that time, she also sees Jamey around and they bond as friends and he tells her about how he really likes this girl he’s been texting. Even though she’s been writing these texts, she won’t betray her friend and she thinks 2 beautiful people belong together. When Veronica and Jamey start dating, they get along, but he comments on how much easier it is to talk to her on the phone. Veronica realizes he actually likes Sierra and encourages her to confess to him, but Sierra still feels like she’s too much of a loser to date him. Time passes and around graduation, Sierra is valedictorian and her speech makes Jamey realize she’s the one he actually likes. He meets her after and tells her he loves her but they’re graduating and going to different colleges. Sierra let her insecurities keep her from this relationship. Or it could be a song at a talent show right before homecoming or something, so they can actually have a relationship, but, keep in mind that in the original story, Cyrano lets years go by and only only hints the truth to Roxanne right before his death
The higher the risk, the stronger the bond. Literally this person is the only one to know this dark secret and vice versa, you can't escape them anymore, you're bound to the friendship taking the secret to the grave.
Veronica is a great actress. She played Alaska in the show based on the book "Looking for Alaska" and after her performance in that, I noticed how talented she actually was at acting xD.

I didn't like this movie pretty much for the exact reasons you mentioned. Way too unrealistic, and that non-consensual kiss was just creepy. I do think the actors were great, but unfortunately their performances couldn't save the movie. I also thought the text conversations between Sierra and Jamey could've been much better. They pretty much just texted memes, so I just didn't buy into their relationship as much as I feel I should've. Idk, awesome soundtrack, but the writing was way too poor for me.

I think they could have saved it if Sierra was punished more for her actions. If she had to work harder for people's forgiveness and prove she messed up, it would have worked in my opinion. You can have a character that stands for unconventional beautify and body positivity WHILE admitting they have faults and have done wrong. No person is perfect. But making her out the be the victim TO THE END and using "oh I only did it because I'm unlovable" is bullshit. It kinda takes away from the whole message. Instead of "you don't have to look a certain way to be worth loving" it's "if people who aren't model hot act out it's only because they can't catch a break and you should forgive them without consequence"

This. I actually would've liked it if the movie was focused on her. She had way more depth and interesting conflicts going on in her life. Like, she has an overbearing mother who clearly is projecting her old high school glory days onto her, she has to maintain a popular girl persona at school, she gets into relationships with shitty guys as a result of her crappy circumstances, etc. But she becomes a better person at the end.
Veronica's movie would've been about a teenage girl who is forced to do and put up with crappy things she doesn't want, but learns to develop a backbone, embrace herself for whom she is, and stand up to her shitty mom and boyfriend. That's a way better coming-of-age story than a manipulative walking sack of greasy shit that is Sierra Burgess.

At one point in the movie Veronica says Sierra is lucky to have found a smart and nice guy, after she says this Sierra gets kinda jealous and asks Veronica if she likes Jaime. All of this on top of the fact that during her date with Jaime Veronica seemed to be touched by how nice and chivalrous he was because at the time the guy she was interested in was a douche. They had good chemistry and I absolutely agree on the fact that if Jaime had to end up with one of them Veronica would have been a much better choice however I'm not sure of how good their relationship could have been because they did not seem to have much in common.

actually the plot is taken from a classical piece of french literature called 'cyrano de bergerac' which basically does the same thing. Most movies also keep the original names of cyrano, chris, and roxanne pretty similar. once you know the trope you cant unsee it lol. in the original though, both chris and cyrano die.... so... take that how you will. cyrano was male in the original and a lot of other depictions of this story keep cyrano and chris as men

Own up to the consequences of your actions, don’t victimize yourself.

6. Ignores/bails on her one real friend

8. Decides to get revenge on this other girl she's supposedly been friends with by being nasty and publicly humiliating her, doing so by interrupting the football game and ruining it for not only the guy she likes but also everyone else there in general
9. Loses everyone because of her own actions, so she sobs about how she's the victim here because HER life is so hard because she's not thin. I get that societal beauty standards send the message that like you're ugly/unworthy if you don't look a certain way, I do, but nothing that happened happened because of the way she looks. Everything that happened was because of her actions and the horrible things she did and the way she treated people. Why did she get that girl to go on a date with him, how was that supposed to help her get together with him? I guess when a lot of people catfish, they don't have a plan and they have to make it up as they go along, but there was no motivation for her to do that. There was no reasoning behind it. How was she expecting that to work out? I just don't get it. And she's an awful person who does awful things that she excuses with this perceived victimhood, she doesn't grow at all, doesn't say sorry, doesn't seem like she IS sorry for what she did, doesn't take any accountability, and gets forgiven and gets everything she wants. The difference is I had a personality and I went to therapy that also addressed my low self esteem. This is really damaging to girls who look like Sierra. We have fun, too.

Honestly people underestimate how normal catfishing has become. It freaked me tf out the first time i found out this girl was catfishing as a guy online, cuz i was genuinely attracted to him/her. But then people were like "its okay i understand" and that freaked me out soooo much more. But ive seen it happen multiple times now, that honestly this isn't far from reality. Which is insane. The thing that bothered me most about this movie (besides the catfishing, assault, deaf-faking, and everything phobic jokes) is that at the beginning when Jamey texts her and she's like "Who is this?" and he sends her the picture of his face she doesn't immediately respond with something along the lines of "Sorry, I still don't know who you are." For whatever reason, she just starts talking to him like she knows why he's texting her and she doesn't find out for way too long that he thinks he's texting Veronica. Any normal person would have pretty quickly been like "Who exactly do you think you're texting?" unless they were going for a prank...

I honestly didn’t like how the whole plot was based on catfishing. I think the plot would be 1000x better if Jamey texted Sierra, but it was just a wrong number (but not a girls number, just like a friends number or something) and Sierra says “oh wrong number” but they continue talking. That way they can develop a relationship not based on lies and the plot can still be based on Sierra can be scared to reveal herself because of what she looks like. Sierra could have tutored Veronica and Veronica could help her with tips on how to talk to Jamey, and learn how to be more confident with herself and her image. Because honestly the lack of self-confidence thing could have been better, but it came across as fake. Sierra did an awful thing and you end up not even rooting for her. And they could even have them meet before the reveal too and have Jamey fall for the real her before he knows she’s the one on the phone and have him tied between these two girls, not knowing they’re the same one. When he finds out it’s her he could be mad because she wasn’t upfront with him and it caused him stress because he thought he had to choose between two girls or whatever.

the title of the movie gives it away. Sierra Burgess resembles the name of the original story Cyrano de Bergerac. This story is about 400 years old. And since then there are different variations of this story.

Anbessa Lea it’s nothing like Cyrano though. Cyrano never gets the girl in the end and he stays a good person through the whole story. The woman he loves is in love with a beautiful man and he actually helps that man (who also loves her) woo her. In the end she falls for his words but Cyr can’t reveal they were his, because the man dies before and he refuses to tarnish his memory. He’s punished for letting his insecurities get the best of him. Sierra is awful and still gets everything she wanted, it goes against every message of the original story
i wonder why she said she was deaf and not just spoke italian or french. bc she would’ve had the accent of the language so her voice wouldn’t have sounded the same and wouldn’t have been recognizable. also at least with a language she knows there wouldn’t be any awkwardness with her not knowing what she’s saying/doing

I get the message that they're trying to put across with this movie but they could have gone about it in a much better way. Catfishing and deceiving (especially to this extent) and doing things without consent shouldn't be portrayed as things that's going to 'get you the guy' and like after the kiss scene, Sierra was shown so happy with herself, but it's so wrong. urgH idk I think they're unintentionally sending the wrong message.

I love how you had to point out the fact that the character is fat. If it was a skinny character, you would’ve never in a million years mentioned it. Just goes to show how fat people are still seen as anomalies in our society even though more than 60% of american men and women are overweight.
I hate how adults who write high school girls make them super shallow, vapid, and petty. Like no actual high school population would dump on the girl who got hacked and someone tried to expose her in front of everyone. She’d be pitied, but Sierra would go down as “that one crazy bitch” in that high schools history.
Dylan, when you said “this movie’s pissing me off”, I really felt that haha. This movie made me so angry for a multitude of reasons.
Especially as a curvy girl myself, I feel like this movie definitely was not a victory for girls that look like me. The scene when she comes home after the football game and starts crying because it sucks for her to look like this and be in high school, was supposed to make us empathize with her actions. Honestly it just made me dislike her more; her appearance does not justify her horrible actions. Especially since the flip side is always drilled into our brains (“being pretty doesn’t give you the right to be mean”). After what she did to Veronica, I lost all respect for Sierra and I feel as though the movie did little to redeem her character.
Not to mention, how unrealistic her make-up with Jamey was... Like I know the movie is trying to tell us that he would look past her appearance and fall for her, but after all she did I can’t buy that. Also, Jamey saying “you may not be everyone’s type, but you’re my type” really left a bad taste in my mouth. As if to say once again, girls like me just happen to be “someone’s type” and not regular girls that guys can fall for.

You know what would’ve made a good story? If they’d actually stuck to the Cyrano de Bergerac themes. It could’ve gone like this:
Veronica has a crush on Jamey. Unfortunately, he’s not only handsome, but very smart and she doesn’t think she could impress him. So she asks Sierra to help her woo him. Sierra agrees and helps her study and write messages to him. Throughout that time, she also sees Jamey around and they bond as friends and he tells her about how he really likes this girl he’s been texting. Even though she’s been writing these texts, she won’t betray her friend and she thinks 2 beautiful people belong together. When Veronica and Jamey start dating, they get along, but he comments on how much easier it is to talk to her on the phone. Veronica realizes he actually likes Sierra and encourages her to confess to him, but Sierra still feels like she’s too much of a loser to date him. Time passes and around graduation, Sierra is valedictorian and her speech makes Jamey realize she’s the one he actually likes. He meets her after and tells her he loves her but they’re graduating and going to different colleges. Sierra let her insecurities keep her from this relationship.
Or it could be a song at a talent show right before homecoming or something, so they can actually have a relationship, but, keep in mind that in the original story, Cyrano lets years go by and only only hints the truth to Roxanne right before his death

Veronica is a great actress. She played Alaska in the show based on the book "Looking for Alaska" and after her performance in that, I noticed how talented she actually was at acting xD.

Cherokee is a lot more rare than Spanish or French so chances are, they don’t know it, and if they do, it’s not likely that they’ll be fluent.

You can barely speak anything, and it's not like you can have an actual conversation even among your classmates. It's a very research-based study course to take. I had it as major for a year before finally chasing after Japanese.

I didn't like this movie pretty much for the exact reasons you mentioned. Way too unrealistic, and that non-consensual kiss was just creepy. I do think the actors were great, but unfortunately their performances couldn't save the movie.
I also thought the text conversations between Sierra and Jamey could've been much better. They pretty much just texted memes, so I just didn't buy into their relationship as much as I feel I should've. Idk, awesome soundtrack, but the writing was way too poor for me.

I never get embarrassed with my life, but I get severe secondhand embarrassment from shows and movies and have to pause them then come back to them. This movie gave me the worst embarassment. It took me 4 hrs to finish it lmao.

I think they could have saved it if Sierra was punished more for her actions. If she had to work harder for people's forgiveness and prove she messed up, it would have worked in my opinion.
You can have a character that stands for unconventional beautify and body positivity WHILE admitting they have faults and have done wrong. No person is perfect. But making her out the be the victim TO THE END and using "oh I only did it because I'm unlovable" is bullshit.
It kinda takes away from the whole message. Instead of "you don't have to look a certain way to be worth loving" it's "if people who aren't model hot act out it's only because they can't catch a break and you should forgive them without consequence"
Yeah. Like, if it was found out earlier by Jamie that he was being catfished and she took "revenge" on Veronica earlier and all that, then had the rest of the movie with her *actually* trying to make it up to them all, then it still wouldn't be okay, but it would be less bad...

In high school a friend dumped his gf through a poem. He received shit from everyone including us (his friend group) for the next 3 years and I don’t think he dated anyone else the entire time he was in high school. I don’t disagree that people will be biased in favor of the guy but there is still a point where people know who the victim is. A girl getting dumped over dms doesn’t reflect on her at all. If everyone got mad at her for leading on the quarter back while being involved with her ex I could see it but not hating for her just cause she got dumped in a douchey way

I would tremendously enjoy a book vs movie review of "To All the Boys I've Loved Before," Dylan. If you needed the validation, consider yourself validated. That being said, I love watching your reaction videos! Thank you for pointing out all of the unrealistic nonsense that definitely wouldn't have happened or been an issue AT ALL during a football game. (Your literal cringing reaction to the encounter where Dan introduces her and she pretends to be deaf was actually me watching this.) It's encouraging that others have recognized that, in real life, this is one of the most horrible things you could ever do to someone. It definitely would not work out for her, ESPECIALLY since she never actually apologized to Veronica. I stopped being on Sierra's side after the kiss by the car. That's genuinely, 100% not okay. You cannot do that to someone.
