Richard Lucas - Innovation and potential from EODESM and the VL

Richard Lucas, professor at Aberystwyth University, Department of Geography and Earth Sciences, shows a demo about the Ecopotential Virtual Laboratory and in which way it is innovating decision making to address the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In the following demonstration, He will show the potential of Earth Observation Data for Ecosystem Monitoring tool (EODESM) and the VLab to address issues relating to climatic variability and sustainable use of forests, with examples of the impacts of bushfires on Australia’s forests and Hurricane Dorian on the Bahamas.
