Great video. Why make semisynthetic antibiotics instead of using actual penicillin? I heard that many viruses have become immune to synthetic forms of penicillin earning the title of super viruses. I don't know too much about it, but is it not better use the real thing?

To be honest antibiotics do not affect viruses at all , antibiotics are only effective against bacteria

@@samuel_prince I always thought antibiotics was a umbrella word for medicines and or chemicals that kill micro sized organisms, but maybe your right. I know that there are antibacterial, antivirals, and antifungal. However I have a friend who works as a microbiologist for a pharmacy and he said some very controversial things about viruses.
