I don't think it was confirmed but apparently KD and Kyrie were gonna choose the Knicks, and DeAndre Jordan apparently said it wasn't it there, so they all went to Brooklyn instead.
What does Zion Williamson have to do with The Knicks return on KP trade???!! Also you mentioned we traded KP for cap space to sign KD and Kyrie, but forgot to include who we did sign with the created cap in the equation…3x All Star and 2x All NBA Player (all with The Knicks) Julius Randle! Julius Randle and the draft capital to trade for OG, The Knicks clearly got the most from any trade of him!
I mentioned Zion because he was the projected first-overall pick in 2019. New York was projected to get that first-overall pick, with a vision of forming a Zion-KD-Kyrie team. (The New York Post even put all three players in Knicks jerseys on their back cover, you can look it up) This Big 3 Dream (which Zion was a major part of) was a key factor in the Knicks deciding to move on from Porzingis. As for Randle, his contract was only 21 mil/year, meaning they probably could have re-signed KP and got Julius in an alternate universe. I do agree though that the Knicks did a pretty good job with managing the assets they got for KP!
@@FiddcoProductions they wouldn’t have gone after Juls if they had Porzingas. The cap was used on KP’s replacement. So, needs to be factored into the trade equation. Boston got a key championship piece so it’s fair to say they ultimately got the most for him, but The Knicks did pretty good in what they flipped for the often hurt “Unicorn”
KP really could've been an all-timer without that ACL tear
💯

He’s still amazing, he just wont play as much
For a small youtuber, this was very high quality

Good video
Deandre Jordan wasn't with the Knicks for long but he was a great mentor for Mitch Rob and that's worth it sometimes
