for 17 girls in a row, i used my boss me-70 plugged straight into my lap top, with the "rectifier" setting enabled, but in this video, i mic'd my marhsall combo with an SM57, into my scarlett,, into my lap top, hope this helps.

Is the pedal in the loop or in front? I have the same pedal used in front of the amp and it sounds like it's chopping the hi-gain sound like a tremolo?
