I think there’s A LOT, that can make this better. Including a much larger opening to feed the fuel. A better pot holder, and more utensils. But a larger hole for fuel is paramount.
That small plate that you think is a tool, is actually used for solid fuel tablets and a trangia style burner, the saw blade and ruler are not the prime use
Too many parts to assemble or lose in my opinion. I got the titanium Winnerwell camp stove that just unfolds. It also has a tray to feed tow wood into it.
yeah it's cool on a PC screen but i can tell this thing is falling apart quickly. very thin titan, will deform. also the ash holes are way to small and not enough
Great idea, but I feel all of it is made of too thin of titanium. My Ti firebox is made of much thicker Ti and Ive had hot enough fires in it to warp it a little. The fact that this comes apart in separate panels means soot city when it comes to packing it away. I bet this would be great for wood pellets though, I always get really nice secondary combustion in my other gasifier stoves with pellets.
Got to stick with my firebox it is a cool Little stove here if it was just a stove to throw into a stove collection maybe. But it’s extremely thin. An I don’t see them rivets holding up for to long after many heating an cooling cycles over time.
Have you tried to run the stove with propane? I like the stove and would like to add it as a backup for my roadtrips. I already carry a 5lb propane bottle and wouldn't want to carry another fuel source. Also, I was wondering if it was possible to sit the burner lower? I would imagine it would take some modification of the pot stand. By lowering the burner you can use the stove as a wind break.
It looks as if it suffocates the twig fuel source, these type stoves are better when round in shape, makes for better gasifier. Its kool looking though.
Blowing through a bellows tube can be dangerous if you accidentally inhale. This stove has loose parts to lose in the grass while camping and won't be fun to assemble in the dark or cold. The Trangia models, the Solo Stove models and the Kelly Kettles give this contraption serious competition. And if you go car camping, the Coleman 2-burner stoves are king anyway.
Interesting development, however I have issues with the firewood I can find: Often quite moist, often up to an inch thick for the same reason, and quite knotty to add. I'm not an ultralighter either, I just like a fire in the evening but not to burn the ground. Lightweight, yes, but within reason. It's too small, in other words. And I would get my fingers covered in soot every darn time I tried to handle it.
Hi Harald, thank you for your comment. What you said about not directly burning to the ground is very correct👍. Many people light a fire directly on the ground for convenience, which not only poses a safety hazard but also destroys the land. I'm sorry to hear that you have issues finding the dry firewood, if you really can't find it, I think you can use pellet fuel instead of firewood to make a nice fire at night. PS: Our stove supports the wood pellets, and there will be a beautiful secondary burning flame. You can add twigs to the top as well as the sides of our small stove, and i'm sure your fingers won't get dirty as easily when you keep the twigs a little longer and away from the fire.😄
A folding gasifier stove. That’s a first indeed. However… with wood stoves, the less fiddling around the better. The nesting round gasifier stoves are better in the sense that you barely have to touch it to set it up. Easier setup and no soot is preferable to these interlocking type stoves. I feel like there’s still a market for titanium wood stoves, but in a caldera cone or picogrill design instead. I like it but It’s too small, needs to be way taller with wood burning because the flames shoot up higher.
Respectfully my friend, I'm worried about your breathing - I've listened to a couple of your videos and it sounds like you can't inhale a deep breath. With the best of intentions, I'd thoroughly recommend asking a doctor to listen to your breathing and check your iron/ferritin levels, especially if you ever experience any light-headedness. I'm retired now, but worked in health for 32 years..
I didn’t realize Putin’s American accent was so flawless 😂
I didn't even know that Putin passionate for camping hahaha...
in communist russia, you are the stove. now bend over well I insert the logs

It's nice to see everything included, and the fork that becomes bellows is great. That's a really nice touch.
Exactly, that was one of my favorite parts!
That small plate that you think is a tool, is actually used for solid fuel tablets and a trangia style burner, the saw blade and ruler are not the prime use
Good call, I rarely ever use solid fuel, and I didn't even think about it. Thanks!

I like the design it’s well thought out I am retired I shall make something on these lines the duel purpose idea is a winner
i'm definitely getting this! everything I could ever want in a SMALL package! that's awesome
Get a lixada folding stove
Too many loose parts to assemble, what if you loose one ?? The whole stove becomes inoperative
yeah it's cool on a PC screen but i can tell this thing is falling apart quickly. very thin titan, will deform. also the ash holes are way to small and not enough
how on earth does vladimir putin find the time to sell camping gear?......
Saw the thumbnail and thought the same thing.
I thought it was him lol
Vladimir Wooden
😂😂
Omg 😆

You're not wrong, and absolutely lots of soot when packing. The weight is why it is as thin as it is, it is all about weight!
Neat design but wait until it warps out of shape, when new and unused they all look good.
Got to stick with my firebox it is a cool

My thoughts exactly
Best titanium stove in your opinion?

Does the popular tangea alcohol stoves fit in the grooves on that pot holder also
I like that stove. I just wish that it was a little bigger so I could put a hamburger patty on the grill part and for it to have a bigger feed hole.
Ooohh, not a bad recommendation!

It seems that everything is sold out on the website. Does anyone know when they will come back in stock?

And I thought you were going to rub two sticks together haha 😂
It's a realy need product? My daughter had something similar for her Barbie doll? I appreciate your effort ...
Pouring water on it will warp it. Just be patient. Cool little stove
True, but I was more or less giving it a stress test.
What does it weigh????
I wish someone would make a bigger stove.

True, but backpackers are looking for small and light weight. Then again, why not make two versions?
Too bad it does not have top with stove pipe so it can be used in 2 person tent.
To many parts to assemble
Just get a pair of Leather barbecue gloves at Walmart, or wherever...So you can handle it better❤
Vladimir backin.
cute a tooth pick burner
so basically you can rummage thru the garbage, find yourself and old tin can, and do the same thing for free....
i must confess, im clicked here because of as if im just saw VV Putin over here,
Love your video.
❤ 🇷🇺
True, but I'm pro Ukraine!
Nice but too many parts . Firebox is the way to go
. Never pure water on hot metal it will warp it ! 😂😂thought u would no that.
No thanks.......the Folding Fire Box stove does all that does and more for a lot less $$$ !!!

I'd rather have a pico and a pocket rocket.
At a glance, you looked like Putin! 👍
Putin hablando inglés?
