Ok, so, looking back, almost two years later, yeah, this video could've been a lot better. Number 1. I probably shouldn't've done the entire video's audio in one hour-long take, just sapped all my energy for some reason. Number 2. Not explaining why I didn't like Sonic R's soundtrack was a bad idea in hindsight, my main issue has always been the lyrics, and I never really thought it fit the concept of a "sonic racing game". Number 3. I put in the jump scares under the assumption that people wouldn't be watching in full volume, and were actually watching instead of just listening, that's my bad for putting them in, trust me, it'll never happen again. Number 4. I did get some info wrong, mainly because I didn't spend as much time as I should have with researching some subjects. All in all, if I ever do something like this again, which isn't very likely, I'll keep a lot of this in mind. I really want to make stuff again, but I've just been dragging my feet on it.
Yeah, if you're gonna do jumpscares or loud noises, give us like a 5-10 second prepping time before you do. Don't give us literally less than 1 second. Or, y'know, don't ever fucking do them at all. This was made so that the player couldn't see the true ending of the game (the footage shown was correct but the details weren't). (Source: Did You Know Gaming? on RUclips; I don't remember which video) From what I know the soundtrack of Sonic CD in US was replaced due to it sounding "too 90's". Apparently the team working on CD researched popular music styles in USA and from what information they gathered they made the music fit the likes of western audience. After the game was presented, Sega of America decided they were tired of the 90's music style and simply changed it. 13:35 the third one (the sonic CD comic) did come out and was the last comic. The sonic 3 and knuckles issue had its art put online but there’s no speech or colouring the comic after that one had some of its pages released and I don’t think the rest of the lost issue had there pages put online public. Sonic universe (the comic that ran with the main comic) last issue was rapping up a story about the Chaotix so at least they didn’t leave the story on a cliffhanger. The same can’t be said for sonic mega drive a three part mini series that never had the final part released which is a shame as it was really good. And it’s also a shame about the other unreleased comics as some of them looked REALLY GOOD. There was one about sonic and honey on a movie set. Great video! I actually planned on making a video on this iceberg myself but you beat me to the punch! Some further information/corrections on some entries. No disrespect intended at all, however I will not tolerate any Sonic R OST slander. Tokyo Toy Show: Yuki Naka said in a 2011 interview with GamesRadar that this prototype was considered to be included with Sonic Mega Collection, but Sega themselves couldn’t find it in their archives. info.sonicretro.org/Yuji_Naka_interview_by_Games_Radar_(June_27,_2011) Resaurus Sonic Figures Wave 3: As these figures were based on SA2, they included figures of Rouge and Shadow. In a press release for the set, they revealed Rouge and Shadow’s names before they were officially revealed by Sega, which is probably the main reason this topic is on the on the iceberg. R2: R2 briefly appears in the End Credits cutscene of Sonic CD, of course between the Palmtree Panic and Collision Chaos sections. Christian Whitehead (Lead Engineer on the Sonic CD Retro Engine remake) said in a post on Sonic Retro that the animation for the cutscenes began very early in development, before R2 was scrapped. Lost Archie Issues: I guess you could consider the early versions of the Chaotix Quest Arc from Sonic Universe in there, which had to be rewritten during the publication due to the outcome of the Ken Penders' lawsuit. There also a ton of Sonic Universe issues revealed before the Archie stopped publishing Sonic, as well as issues from their ‘Archives’ compilation series. Sonic 1 Nick Arcade prototype: drx says the Sonic 1 prototype leaked earlier this year was once owned by a British gaming magazine from the 90s. Sonic OVA OST: While there was no official release of the OVA’s soundtrack, a ton of demo tracks were leaked in September of last year. As well as tracks from the final movie, there also some unused tracks and a full version of Look-a-Like. ruclips.net/p/PLbGNUtFOh-FjQKLgGsvWCK9e75MSQRG05 Sonic movie pitches: I think this was supposed to refer to pitches for other Sonic movies, like Sonic Wonders of the World and Sonic Armageddon, conceptualised by Ken Penders. You can find out more from this excellent video by PatMac. ruclips.net/video/w23ZI3uGv9w/видео.html AoStH pilot: While the leaked version of the pilot is a rough cut (as shown by the incomplete audio and time code), some of its finished footage was reused. The scene that plays during the end credits of the show is taken from the pilot, Scratch and Grounder are watching a clip from the pilot in the episode ‘Untouchable Sonic’ and clips were used in an ad for Fox 39 Kids Club and in a promotional video for Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood.

I guess cyber city is the reason metropolis 3 is a different zone in level select
I wonder what happened to the statue in front of the sonic spinball ride
8:14 laughs in sonic mega collection, sonic jam, and sonic 3 and knuckles steam port.
13:38 had me so confused. It should be issue 290, but the cover says 280 🤔
I'm starting to think any Sonic game with "Extreme" in the title is cursed.
movie pitches refer to the many movie pitches that were done before the 2020 movie was done. one was by ken penders himself. google sonic armageddon for info on that one. lsmark made a vid on the 3 pitches
PatMac actually made the video
love the video !!
Omg, the fictional green-eyed chausie cat from "war felines"!

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog
Haters gonna hate, but Sonic Underground is really good
13:35 the third one (the sonic CD comic) did come out and was the last comic.
Bunny was gonna go to blaze dimension and there was this thing called null that look like mephiles one exploring how sonic met mighty as ray. I wish we could have seen these last story’s released.
Great video! I actually planned on making a video on this iceberg myself but you beat me to the punch! Some further information/corrections on some entries. No disrespect intended at all, however I will not tolerate any Sonic R OST slander.
Tokyo Toy Show: Yuki Naka said in a 2011 interview with GamesRadar that this prototype was considered to be included with Sonic Mega Collection, but Sega themselves couldn’t find it in their archives. info.sonicretro.org/Yuji_Naka_interview_by_Games_Radar_(June_27,_2011)
Resaurus Sonic Figures Wave 3: As these figures were based on SA2, they included figures of Rouge and Shadow.
As well as tracks from the final movie, there also some unused tracks and a full version of Look-a-Like. ruclips.net/p/PLbGNUtFOh-FjQKLgGsvWCK9e75MSQRG05
Sonic movie pitches: I think this was supposed to refer to pitches for other Sonic movies, like Sonic Wonders of the World and Sonic Armageddon, conceptualised by Ken Penders. You can find out more from this excellent video by PatMac. ruclips.net/video/w23ZI3uGv9w/видео.html
AoStH pilot: While the leaked version of the pilot is a rough cut (as shown by the incomplete audio and time code), some of its finished footage was reused.
ITS A SPOOKY MONTH!!!
he just did the spooky month dance
18:50
It’s sounds like someone throwing up farting and out of no where a woman from the 90s sang in my shower
2:30 It's certainly not SatAM, so it's either AOSTH or Underground.
Underground sucks,I still absolutely love it tho
36:31 Shoulda contracted those madmen always showing up on SSFF.
