In Iceland with 24 hours of sunlight, there are a lot more chances to tee it up for Erik Anders Lang.
Each year, golfers from all over the world travel to Akureyri Golf Club for a game of midnight golf. Set in beautiful northern Iceland, the Arctic Open is a tradition that takes full advantage of the perpetual sunlight during the summer months.
This is Adventures in Golf, presented by United.
Adventures in Golf takes you around the world to places you'd never think golf would exist. From the slums of Mumbai to a Louisiana prison, no adventure is too gnarly for host Erik Anders Lang. Watch for the golf, stay for the adventure.

I’m so down. I started getting into golf back in May and I went to Iceland back in March so I’ve been curious if they golfed there. I’ve actually heard of this course.

Shane Sweeney dude that’s awesome man. I recommend just renting a car and go for it! We were there for a week. There’s so much to see that we saw from the westfjords all the way to the east. Not really any of the north island.

You should try golfing in Greenland. It’s pretty similar to Iceland.
If you want to play an amazing course i would recommend to come to one of the most northern links courses in the world , Lofoten links. Lofoten links is a golfcourse placed in northern norway, and during the summer the sun does not set from june to august. I think this would be a nice place for your show adventures in golf.

You should check out the lofoten links course in Norway, it's above the polar circle and is absolutely stunning. I played there a few months ago in pouring rain while it was freezing cold, but it still was one of the beautiful rounds of golf I've ever had.
I went to Reykjavik last February and really wanted to play there but the course wasn't really playable. But such a beautiful location to play, right by the lighthouse in Reykjavik!

There are a lot of courses in Iceland,I stared longingly at most of them when I took the wife and kids there a few years ago. Now,the wife is an ex wife and the kids are adults, hmmm? Take everything ,buy nothing there and make no phone calls,it’s veeeerrry expensive,but worth the trip. No hay fever either.

Every time somebody says "land of the north and the northern lights" or something along those lines, I get so happy that somebody is finally talking about how beautiful Canada is, then they go "Iceland" or, and this one actually makes me shake "Minnesota" and I get so sad.
I couldn't sleep because it was too bright at a hotel in Iceland. Weirdest but best experience playing golf at 3am!!

Erik you should do an episode of PuttPutt golf. There has been putt putt tornaments since the 80s and even today is considered as a professional sport. More than $8,500,000 in prize money has been awarded since the PPA’s inception.

It's quite fun to play in Iceland. Another northern course to check out is the Lofoten Links in Norway that opened just a few year ago. Highly recommended.
