Only 4 days left to enter to win the portable AC! Not many have entered you have a great chance!
How do I enter. I’ve been working so much that I have not been able to watch much of anything but this is one of my favorite channels.
Anyone looking to buy a ex fedx truck at auction should beware. There is a class action lawsuit against them right now for rolling back odometers one truck was off by 450k miles
@@FreedomIncI just warned him too on another comment.
@@Itsa_Mea well good for you..
Exactly, the place where you buy some one problems😂
An auction is where you sell your problems.
Concur
@@dixiemae5042 Exactly.
Yep
All these professional buyers on this thread! Smh. Some of the best, most dependable trucks that i ever owned in my fleet when i had over 20 power units, were from auctions! Would you suggest him buying from a dealership and getting raped??? Just remember, most of the units sold in auctions often come from large fleets or rental companies that have maintained the trucks and have maintenance records. If you buy from a private owner, sometimes you don't know what that vehicle has been through or if it was regularly maintained. Everyone always seems to know better than Robert, but most, if not all of you are NOT O/O's and are driving for megas. Let the man do his thing, hes already proven most of you doubters wrong already on many decisions he's made.
That's a good one. I'm going to use that.
😅😂😅😂 Robert why u always talking about Thailand girls having a weiner?
because there are more bennie boys there than you can shake out of the hens nest.
Cause they lady boys😅
@@Roy-l7v Surely not
I leased a 2014 Blue KW T-680 with the VIT Diamond Interior. Loved that truck. Great interior, great ride, double bunk, lot of room. I miss it very much.
That seat belt on Lita is beautiful. Glad she wears it.
“cascadias just feel cheap”
🍻 truth
It’s like 18 year old kids join the ARMY and come home married to a stripper and a car with 21% interest.
How did you know??
I personally don’t like anything about the cascadia I drove one for 5 years and they were horrible, the seats were horrible and the mattresses were very thin just complete plastic plain Jane fleet truck.very same things were also with the international prostars.
Look at a kw t680 the ride is nicer then the frieght shaker
2019 Cascadia and newer you can sit up in bed with the top bunk down
Don't buy any Fed Ex trucks
That blue KW T680 is the ticket. X15 👍 I would stay away from anything with a one box.
The 680's are the closest in sleeper configuration to my 387... lots of room. My sleeper though is only 4 inches wider than my cab which gives me a ton of room between my seats... good walking room. Can't wait to see what you wind up doing!
I also work for 387 2004. The caterpillar has a two-turbo. seat spacing and good. And a sleeping bag. How people work on the classics. A dark cabin and a sleeping bag like a doghouse. Greetings from Russia. 👋I think that the best truck in the world is the Pit 579 and the Ken 680. But they will never reach Russia.
don't ever buy a truck at auction!!
I know a few friends that have bought trucks at auction with good luck, best advice I can give is get the Vin, call the manufacturer and have them pull the service history, if it had any major work, or warranty work it should show up.
And use your best judgment on mechanical stuff, or have your mechanic look at it.
And look at the truck personally
What's wrong with buying an auction truck?
Lida should get her CDL and get her own truck and dump you and your camera at the house. She pretty much does everything anyway.
Except that’s not her name.
What would the dogs do then? Every other week?
If you ever go to a place like that again, take your jumper box. That’s what we did.
You can listen or not.. but as a driver who driven kw T680's for the past 4 years.. they are very reliable trucks.. they may not have the amount of cabinets as the Cascadias but I never had any huge mechanical issues with KW.. as long as you keep the maintenance up and take care of it, they will run and treat u good. All u need for Kws is deep cycle batteries and u will never have issues . I think u will be happier with the T680..
This videos so old he's already bought it put 3 sets of injectors and 2 clutches in it.
@@markpeterson6836😂😂
Great teamwork you two 💪☝️👊
Seeing all the problems with this new stuff i would just go back to driveing somebody elses truck and i would find a owneroperator truck that has been tooken care might be xtra money but thats me keep grinding guys your doing it
Thank you for showing us the trucks with you, was awesome. Hope you find a gem
Good luck whichever way you go. The trucks look nice. The economy scares the heck out of me. I’ve always been told, to see how things are going with all the markets is check what’s going on with the Railroads. They are a big indicator for what’s going on with the country and shipping.
You may already know but I'll say anyway these new trucks are recommended oil change is about 75000 miles with synthetic oils personally that's ridiculous. I'm a believer in premission. Dollar for dollar you'll come out cheaper and easier to work on. Prices are falling on premission because of California rules
I would do as I did....frame out your motor and redo everything you touch....way cheaper to keep a truck you have run awhile
Love the thailand comment!
Hey you guys are great, it might be a time for a new truck it looks like you’re kind of roughing it with that Mac. I really like the Kenworth T6 80‘s myself I like the wraparound curtain it makes for a much bigger area and convenient not to have all of that crap that you need to put in the windows. For me and APU is the must. I had a Lotta good luck with KW’s they don’t turn the best but you’re a decent driver you could deal with that. You’re right the Cascadia‘s feel cheap drive down the road like shit. Never drove a Volvo lotta people like them but I’d take a KW or a Peterbilt any day of the week . Really staying up on maintenance will keep most trucks running fine unless they’re cursed. Good luck I hope you stay in trucking love your videos love the Lita and the pups.
That FL cass at 20:00 sounds like the quantity control valve or fuel pump is going bad. The slight rev every 2 seconds. Why I stay away from modern junk.
i c u r superdan fan//haha,but good job
I don’t know what truck you’re going with, but I would suggest a freightliner Cascadia unless you’re looking for resale value then you might go with a Peterbilt or Kenworth but if you want a truck that you can find parts and people that can work on it easily, I would consider just a freightliner Cascadia at least a 2019 or newer
Either a Weiner or a world champion ping pong ball master 🤣
In 2012 I went directly from Tampa to Atlanta GA at Schneider National used trucks and bought a 2006 Freightliner Century. It was a hit or miss and I got a very good unit. Pulled containers, flat bed, vans and drove it for 8 years and sold it for $23.000 after paying $22000 in 2012. I still see this truck rolling through Tampa. Today Schenider trucks run over $70,000.
14,000 hours with 400k miles is huge idle time. I’m 1,000,000 miles with 19,000 hours for comparison
I would lean towards a Kenworth also or even better if they have any a Western Star or Peterbilt.
WS are nothing but another level of Freightshakers. They've really went down over the years. Sad to see.
Hi Lita and Robert. This auction place can't be the only one. By now, the auction has taken place. Of the trucks you showed, none of them looked good enough for your money, in my opinion. We will soon see your decision. Have good days!
Blue truck seemed nice
Stay away from automatic
T680, like over the road.
What happened to our RUclipsr ….Will drive for tacos.??
I would recommend skipping the ritchie brothers auctions, only problem trucks get sent to auctions
Check with a dealership. Might even get some warranty with it. Worth a try.
I seen a Lot full of Nice Looking Trucks in Monroe Ga. @AAA Trucking.
Every Action I've ever been to you have 4 or 5 working and 25 barking orders not doing shit. And they all had an attitude. Scared to death there going to have to do something.
T680 vs Volvo 870. I hear the KW has a terrible turning radius vs the Volvo, you can get the Volvo with the dinette down stairs and it has a decent refrigerator. As long it was ordered with all the bells and whistles.
I agree all the way turning radius is sucks with KW but ya won’t feel that if ya doing OTR but for local businesses he’ll ya
Western fire trucks are actually well taken.Care of and some needs to be replaced before they sell it.They fix it.They replace it
Man I hated those insulation loads. Picked up several of those, and there was always some destroyed on the front, and couldn't keep 'em from shifting.
They’re like wind sails…
This day it's really uncertain on making decent money driving truck as an owner operator.
Stay away from cummins isx15 unless you have money to spend every other month on Emmission
Why would you even consider buying a truck from these guys
Busy at the sleeper and chairs not the engine and leaks 🙄Are you guys looking a one bedroom mobile home or trucks
there at the auction for a reason..... keep what you have, you know the problems already... a different truck all new problems plus a payment...
So many reasons they could be at auction…
My boss just brought a Kenworth K200 cabover (I'm from Australia) he paid $120k at an auction ended up costing another $27k for repairs, would be pretty hard to find a turn key truck ready to work from an auction. Good luck with what ever you choose
Try going to a credit union, I started a business account at mine and I got a great interest rate on my used truck and later my trailer.
I hope this information helps you.
Love my t680 mx13 has done me right
if a Detroit is idling like that stay away. could be a sign of fuel system problems.
Beginning of the video.. Lose the crap music
When we buy a used diesel, we have our mechanic run his computer on it to check the history
Boring can be good most times! Boring and high pay is even better!
Idk why but I love that you have a dog named Mack and you drive a mac😂
19th sitting out a t-storm in Indiana ☔️
That’s a Cummins is that not correct? Those engines sound like they knock but they’re really not.
Heya, have a good weekend!
Stay away from freightliner’s
Keep the Mac
I would pass on any of them, you would be buying someone else problem
Warning stay away from the Cummins ISX engines they suck. I own three of them and they are never ending money pits.
Weird everyone says to go isx
Never buy at auction
That big tractor is a landfill compactor there are a lot of them.
RUN from places like that
Whatever you do don't get an automatic. Real truck drivers don't drive automatics
Auction you are buying other people's problems
not a w9 in sight and most of these are autos, ill pass, lol.
Making big mistake buying one at auction
Stop twisting your straps yes I do drive flatbed and anybody will tell you not twist your and yes I do have a flatbed
Well you suck. Stop driving
Nothing but troubles with all those emissions trucks u want a truck with no problems go premissions 12.7 detroit 500hp cat c15 easier to fix if u do have break down I have a truck u could of looked at last time u was in wisconsin in eau claire u was 45 min from it only 18k I've had nothing but problems out of egr trucks def crap
I don’t have any Copyrights to any music or videos on my Page!
What does this mean
You think that you are the old God mighty truck driver well guess what you're not
I just know I’m better then you
8:46 that caught me off guard😂
Loved that blue kenworth
Look 4 wfx used trucks
Stick to the problems you know! All them used trucks are just problems you don’t know about
T680 Sr real good trucks you get the Cummins motor X15 Motors in stay away from paccar engines their scrap iron they work for Paula scrap metal that's all it where they belong to the scrap yard problem with them trucks I have one from last year and it was a damn good truck a T680 Kenworth but I headed to Cummins motor in it and it was that it was a hell of a pulling truck I had wanted pull up I pulled a cattle trailer with mine and it was pretty darn damn good you guys stay safe out there have a good Fourth of July and God bless you
From experience Volvo has the widest cab on the market, Volvo engines are very reliable and the automated transmission is the best, I have had them all. hands down the best auto out there. Had 5 Volvos over the years and never had an issue with them..
Providing u don't go to nw corner of the USA or have huge problems. Nw corner of USA has no 24 hour Volvo shops open.. my company had to pay several wreckers to put the trucks halfway across the country to shops that was open
If you are gonna buy a used company truck you are better off buying direct from a company selling them. Auctions are designed to get rid of the junk no one wants to buy and there is too much risk in them.
It goes like this … Peterbilt’s are the caddies … Kenworth are Pontiac’s … everything else are the pintos … Mack’s are the AMC’s 🤷🏻♂️
WIDE caddies at that!
Sounds like there's no where to go but UP then!
So a T-680 is a GTO-Judge? The Mack is an AMX?
I need it really bad
That first black Freighter with the table and Murphy bed is called the drivers lounge, it’s about a $4,000 option. The brown interior is another $4-500. I’m sure there’s some other options I don’t see. The KW when you were in the back the white thing you were pressing was for the inverter to turn it on and off. Depending on how much you want a good place to buy dependable used truck is Pedigree Truck Sales (Prime Inc).
Just Remember Bro when you buy a truck from the auction your buying someone else's problems that's why it's sitting at the auction in the 1st place and that's when everyone starts Delveloping problems is around 400 to 500 thousand miles so they Dump there headaches off on someone else. If you're looking to spend that kind of money on a truck I would just invest my money in what I already have because you already know what you got and the problems that need addressed and actually you will be saving money instead of spending 30 or 40 geand on something you know nothing about, I seen the issues you had with the mack and just couldn't find the Right mechanic to fix the problems but you eventually did and she Runs great now from what i see in your videos so I would just invest in what I already have if I was you.
I'm glad I sold my used truck in 2021 when used truck prices spicked. I saw recently the prices on parts and it blew me away as I am a company driver now. Never seen so much owner ops selling their rigs today. I don't know how they make it with insurance, parts, batteries that are expensive and only last 6 months, gallon of lucas used to be $22.00, now $ 43.00!
As a company driver for the last 12 years, I've been through all the brands but mack, and multiples of them...the most dependable by far have been the freight shakers.
What ac yea ll giving away. ?
no no no what you want to do is gather up all the spare change you have you're going to need around about 300K give or take go down to the Kenworth dealership get you a nice w900 stretched out 330 wb if possible with a nice 600 Cummins in it
I love my Volvo. I had a 2006 international 9400. I drove the international for 10 years before it got wrecked. Purchased a Volvo after looking at trucks. Volvo has the most room and space of all the trucks I looked at. I have a 2020 860 .
Why you guys looking at Freightshakers? You should be looking at Pete’s or a good KW or even a used Reliable car hauler tractor with that condo on wheels sleeper.
Look at the Red One
👍👍
Western flyer
🎉🎉 2 👍👍 up yall y'all stay safe out there 🤞💕🥾🇺🇸🍼🐶🐕🦴🍗🍀💕🥾
Why don't you guys call Alison at haigia she's got a truck work ready don't remember all the particular s might be worth your while.
Rode hard, put up wet! Auction only wants to see your butt and your money on payday.
As the old saying goes:”You Bought It Toyota”.
If you're serious about buying a new truck..... get a used Volvo.
It’s buying a new house and a new car at once… You know that the sellers would have sold privately if they could. Auctions are where the bottom of the barrel is cleaned out.
Great Vlog! Alot of them tractors look like they were drove hard and put away wet. That Blue T680 looked clean! Good luck!
You never buy anything out of an auction. That's where people get rid of their money pits. There is something always wrong with them. That's why they go to the auction. Your money go ahead and waste it.
