At the end of the video Dave I actually fitted a new seal on the sensor plug. But I get a lot of questions on speedo issues from another video. But that had abs and most of these don’t, so thought this might save me explaining it again 🙂🙂 The joys of it Dave, we love it 😉👍
Interesting that you saw that 😂😂 It isn’t something that I fitted but would think it is someone’s idea to bleed the clutch after changing as they can be quite difficult to get rid of airlock’s 🤔🤔 I’m glad the speedo tip helped 👍
Hi could you advise , I have NO speedo working on my 55 plate 1.9 vivaro , found out its had a gearbox replacement . this as a blanking plate on the gearbox . could I fit a new censor in it ? Regards Trev .
Hi Trev, unfortunately the gearbox fitted in your van is from one that had ABS and cannot be made work in your van. Or at least not that I’m aware of 😬😬
@@tossiegough hi sorry not as yet I spoken to a guy he said it can't be done, but I'm not giving up ,I've managed to get parts of ebay , I didn't think he wanted to have a go to sort it out , so it's left on the back burner at the moment , let me know if you get lucky , cheers 🍻
@@tossiegough you could possibly achieve an answer if pushed but you would need to be a wise old elf to pull it off. Swoping the gearbox would probably be easier 😔😔

Ive done exactly as you have in the video, only I currently have a dead battery so haven't been able to test it yet 🙄 although I didn't think the connections on my sensor looked too bad 🤷♂️

My 05 primaster is stuck on 0 mph and the mileage doesn't go up after driving, could they be related?

@@kennedysgarage3281 I drove through to check today mate but battery completely flat not even a dash light.
I checked around the dash cluster anyhow but couldn't see anything ABS
@@user-de6kh6uu2x look in behind one of the front wheels & look for a wire leading down to an abs sensor 😉
