You guys are seriously gonna like this show, i was skeptical at first but its actually very very good. its a very relatable show for a lot of us! super fun show!!!!
@@nippsliter3318 Last week's episode was the #1 most watched video on Disney+ worldwide. The show definitely started with low viewership, but I suspect word of mouth is doing its thing.
@@nippsliter3318 success isn't only based on views and it's sad that that's how you interpret it. The quality of this show in all aspects is a success. Just because people no longer believe Star Wars can produce quality shows leading to fewer and fewer people watching doesn't mean the show wasn't successful in making a worth while viewing experience.
@@nippsliter3318 and what question did I ask hmmm? Oh that's right, I didn't, so if you're going to try and come at me with a witty response at least make it make sense.
This show is set in the New Republic era, generally at the same time as The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka, and after the events of Return of the Jedi
Awesome glad you’re reacting to it and it’s a great show and it reminds me of my childhood playing pretend and being a Jedi, all of us fans have done that in our childhood which brought back memories when Wim & Neel were playing pretend.
The stated intent of the producers was to capture the 80s "Amblin Entertainment" feeling and put it into the Star Wars universe. They've done that successfully. If you like that genre of story, if the 80s was your decade, they've got it here. We're up to the penultimate episode of the season so far, and there has been one episode that was "okay." The others have been great. I'm hoping the last episode will be a good cap-off. I actually do hope this is deliberate one-season show so they can give it a good, real ending and not just set up for a second season that might not happen.
Best reaction. So many other reactors say this world is so messed up and Dad is terrible. Meanwhile, it’s paradise and Dad gives Wim the best life ever. The worst thing is school or work. First reactor to realize, paying the bills, school, and not always having time for bedtime stories, is not dystopian. Looking forward to your reactions, it’s a great show.
This is going much better than i thought it would to he honest. So far only 1 episode hasnt hit for me. Also, i now want Judr Law's character to stick around, he's great imo.
A lot of the anticipation was thatt this would be a relatively shallow “kids show” - but really, its one of the better written, produced, and acted Star Wars series that just happens to feature kids in the main cast
Yes, that is Jaleel White. He'll be back. If the planet looks like Suburbia (not like anywhere else in the Star Wars galaxy)...there is a reason for that. Veeeery interesting light saber you've got there. What era is it supposed to be from? I'm asking for a reason.
This show for real is like those old kids movies like the Goonies. It’s really great. And the kids legit act like kids. Really made me want to see a Star Wars One Piece lol y’all see what I mean

Yeah same for me
i’m so happy y’all are watching this 🥳 i hope you guys have fun with it, and drew, hope you feel better soon!
Half of Wims dad's dialogue in this show is him looking up at the sky yelling "Wim!!!" hahahahahaha
Just like Andor, a show nobody asked for at first, this was a success.
This show isn't a success lol, the viewship was said to be lower than The Acolyte.

Yep, and before The Force Awakens and the rest of the sequels, if that helps anyone.
Five years after ROTJ; 28 years after ANH.
To be more precise this is after/during the events of Mandalorian season 3.

Wait did I miss where they reacted to Ahsoka?
I think they haven't because they're watching Clone Wars for context?
"Yes, they haven’t watched Ahsoka yet… viewing in order "roughly "
@@Ts7n then they still need to watch Rebels too? That's dedication to a plan.
