Thanks bud! I was so dejected after that hit, really thought I was looking at a podium. Just goes to show settling in and getting the work done is what's important. If I had given up I wouldn't be battling at the end, a position gained is still a position even if it's 1st, 6th, or 12th.
one of the oldest channels i can remember! i was always wondering, what's that desk? seems so solid even now with the simucube. also which pedals are you using now?
I have been doing this for ages haha. The desk is an MDF rig I built back in 2010 that's still going strong. Just has a 4ft laminate countertop from Home Depot. Plenty of holes in it from different wheels but I just keep the SC2 bolted down the whole time. I'm using SimJack pedals with a few Bodnar bits for the controller. I'll have to do a rig tour at some point.
@@CharlieSearsRacing yes you do. happy to still see old school desk setups in this 3.000$ brake pedal era we are living in. I also love to see that the drink is always there next to your base as always hahaha
@@gregkar2736 I wouldnt have the gear I do today without slow upgrades. I'm thankful for what I have but there are still originals from when I started iRacing in use. The drink is more often a sparkling water or NA beer. When the timing is right though I'll stay hydrated through a proper beer 😂
Just pro level moves :D. I can't believe I did that lap 1. Tires were warmed up plenty by then but NOOOOOO, I had to send it deep for absolutely no reason. I'm thankful for my recovery but hot damn what a way to start the race week.
Solid recovery! Exciting finish

I havent finsihed the video just yet but where you get the arrows? I never seen those before and trying to figure out exactly what they are telling XD
JRT overlays. They're the "spotter" overlay. It's the position of other cars to mine. Insanely useful, especially at ovals
First
Third...I'm too slow...
