I think it's hilarious when people mock Pantera for having started as a "glamish" band. This shit's heavier than 99% of so called heavy metal now days.
Because people don't remind Overkill and Slayer and Bathory etc... having the same hairdo in early 80's haha . People just repeat the urban myth . 80's pantera was a texan child of British heavy metal and van halen and groovy stuff ...

Power Metal was halfway between Cowboys, and their earlier stuff.... but Power Metal is a kickass album, even of Pantera doesn't think so. All the proof you need, is their discography on their official site doesn't even acknowledge pre-Cowboys stuff. Like it never happened, and they don't play any of that live. I think only exception is they played Power Metal a few times in early 90's concerts. They felt it wasn't representative of who they are (their words).

Pantera and kerry king, they do this song, a slightly different version, some slayer covers, priest covers. The rehearsal footage is near an hour in length and is followed by a show. Great job on this one
