    The "Original Peterson's " Vise-Grip : made in the United States of America by American Citizens, does it Right EVERY TIME. The new Vise-Grip "labled" are junk for the last 8 years, just pure "Scraponese" made with "Chinesium". Thanks for the great Vidio Sir and happy safe tractoring. Clearanceing the project always makes things easier & sometimes better. A quality build!

    I just put a block heater in my L2501 today your freeze plug came out a hell of a lot easier than mine did lol did your heater thread all the way into the coupler mine is about 1/4 to 3/8 from threading in completely

      Mine did not fully seat either. I believe it's taper fit / NPT, IIRC.

    Thanks. I need to do the same on my Kubota RTV X900. It already has a heater in it, but the first one did not last long. And access to it is a pain.

    Good job.. I'll be doing the same thing on my 2501 soon.

    Well done and helpful (even though I have a John Deere, not a Kubota). JD may have a leg up on Kubota in making this job easier: the designated freeze plug for a heater is easy to get to (just have to remove exhaust pipe) and you remove it with a 1/2 inch ratchet. Just shows a little more thoughtfulness from some automotive engineers, I guess.

    Do you think it would have been easier to tap the bushing in if the engine had been warm? Thanks for the video.

      @paladinjme  2 года назад +1

      Perhaps...could do that *and* put the bushing in the freezer, might make it drop right in.

    Why in the world didn't you use the freeze plug to the left so you didn't have to remove the starter?

    • @paladinjme
      @paladinjme  3 года назад +1

      The main reason: that was the manufacturer recommendation.

      My dealer put mine in the one closest to the front seat (left side) on my l2501 I wish he would have done it on the one like this video.

      @@paladinjme did the manufacturer of the block heater recommend that or kubota?

      @@jakesvideos8204The instructions appear to be written by Kubota...and it's a Kubota branded part.
