It takes a lot of patience to be an antique dealer. The turnaround isn't always fast.and the traveling antique dealers surely must have money because they may wait weeks or months, before they sell at a great profit. Even the actual antique stores often have items for years. I am so happy to watch from utube.

Tanya, Congratulations on your books! What an accomplishment! I have been engaged with my grandson on a series of short stories. It is a lot of work to prepare and edit for publishing! Your videos bring me joy! ❤
Well, first off, my grandson is 10 yrs old, going on 25 😊. He has a very vivid imagination. The stories are about the Floppas (good guys) and the Binguses (bad guys). So far, we have 2 completed short stories. The first is about a war between the 2 factions. Naturally, the Floppas won. The second short story is about how the Floppas and Binguses have learned to live together in peace. And my grandson informed me that the 3rd short story has been started. It is about how the Binguses came to be. (Hint---the Binguses were originally Floppas). My grandson does most of the writing with suggestions from grandma. But the storylines are very mature for such a young soul.
Respect, Tanya! That you chose the classics to interpret for kids makes me realize you have a history or literature background, in addition to your take on the objects you are hunting. Fantastic!

IT AMAZES ME HOW THE ANTIQUE/ VINTAGE DEALERS TELL THE VALUE OF AN ITEM YET DONT SELL AT AUCTION OR ON EBAY OR OTHER resell sites. If that Deco fan is worth $1,000.00,why doesn't he sell through an antique auction broker. I stay away from electrical antiques that may have to be rewired. I have seen some beautiful Tiffany lamps sold very cheaply at the antique malls but sometimes the items are outrageous.
