I’m an Antique FREAK!!! My Mother was a Hooked Antique Nut. I remember going to Auctions when I was a very little Girl. My Mother has passed on but I still collect Antiques- sparingly - I live in a little house with 0 room for big antiques. Jewelry and Miniatures is all I can do now. 😀

I love cut glass myself. I fell in love with it after my Auntie told me the story of seeing it for the first time, sparkling under the lights at an Antique Faire at the Cow Palace in San Francisco. She painted the word picture so magically that I can't get enough of it ever since 😂 I will absolutely share your comment with Condo! She will love it!

It gets me when people think they have antiques and are vintage. I have Antique CMAS ornaments 1890 and vintage ones and I love all of them. My collections are stunning and everything is recorded with pictures. I wish I had a bigger home like you do. Enjoy.

That 1st vendor always has amazing furniture. Between you and me, I was actually very sad about the high chair because those converted into rockers, but this one didn't. I thought I found a major score for $100 for a hot second there 😂. You got me with the last question & I will have to look into it. Fenton always gets the credit for making it popular, but ... thank you for pointing that out!!!

Really enjoyed the trivia questions and I go back to growing up with records my Mother played for myself and two sisters. Also she always had the radio going as I remember going back to 3 years old. We didn't have a TV until I was ten years old but Blessed that my Mother gave me the gift of LOVE of music! P.S. I hope you still have your Bee sofa !

Yes, technically they still are, but the trend is growing & I overheard everyone looking at them saying they were interested in it for records. Personally, I was considering it for storing all of my writing. It was definitely getting attention more for it's utility than it's "antique value." Personally, I'm all for salvage and repurpose!

Very true, yard sales usually have the best deals. Our yard sale prices might shock you a little too though. It's all relative. Unfortunately, things just tend to be more expensive here in California 😭

It's such a good question, and a very touchy debate that I try to stay out of 😂😂😂 The sticklers will say 100- antique, 40- vintage, 20- retro. However, that is just terribly confusing to me because "retro" refers to a specific era around the 50's. Personally, I prefer a 20 year rule for vintage at this point because I think it of more as a pre-technology era (or beginnings of anyway). I think that, in the future, things like headphones and tapes, for example, will be highly collectable. That's my 2 cents anyway 😂🥰🥰❤️❤️
For most of us midcentury modern people it's 1940-1970 and vintage is I believe 25yrs or older, antique definitely 100yrs.
It is so scary when we call 90's vintage...yikes

The square egg carton egg carriers work look behind you grocery store or find them in Walmart in container section. Plastic containers and baskets. Banana boxes are sturdy too. Hope this helps.
