Practis, this video is an absolute MASTERPIECE!!! The clips and their placements in the timeline, the music, your editing, the feeling and vibe of it-- beyond epic! I was literally entranced at your total video package, as Negan is my favorite TWD character. Thank you!
Best character development ever! Not killing Negan and sparing him was a powerful message, forgive but not forget your enemy so one day he may be by your side. Negan literally saved them from the Whispers and did the dirty undercover job to kill Alpha, Maggie's group would've fought another bloody war with the Whispers if it wasn't for Negan being spared and change of heart. Judith and Carl really saved him from evil because he cared for them both as his own kids somehow.
He didn't care for them "somehow". It's shown Negan used to be a gym teacher at a school and he loved working with kids. Loving children and protecting them at all costs is one of the qualities that helped redeeming him.
Whoever created and worked on this arc--virtually a copy of the Biblical arc of Saul to Paul--is a creative genius. IMHO, the writing of Negan's total story is Pulitzer Prize material!
Hands down one of the best character arcs in the series. We met him as a villain but ended with him being the hero. Had we met him first and Ricks group later, Rick would’ve been the villain. I watched this show beginning to end and it was amazing to see Maggie finally forgive him enough to trust her sons life with him. And the promise he gave young Hershel was everything ❤
even seeing it from ricks way, what rick and his group did was moraly, ghoulishly, cowardly wrong..They shouldve just listen to morgan jones and talked to negan cause negan ALWAYS like a person with big pair to face him, wether trying to kill him or face to face meeting.Rick chose the cowards way out and forced glenn to be a murderer for the first time to AND in season 3,rick et the governor..a one on one meeting of the minds to settle things,to fix something bad before it got worse and he couldve done the same thing with NEGAN and i think he wouldve cooporated and IF NOT then rick would know for sure what he needed to do but rick thought no one could stand against them.Rick was getting too cocky, SO MUCH SO that when they were brought into alexandrkia, rick was concocting a plan to take over their town. RICK learned the hard way that you may be a big bad fish but theirs ALWAYS a bigger fish that will eat you.. NEGAN was that bigger fish and before we all knew who negan was,i thought that was just a bad thing they did to that sleeping out post of THE SAVIORS cause you can`t tell the scum from the good as they sleep, even making glenn a murderer for the first time and taking parents away from the baby rick found in the other room in that crib which is WHY morales from season one had a gun on rick and remember what morales said"EVEN THOUGH SO MANY DIED,SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY,OFFICER FRIENDLY DIED TO."MORALES SAW rick AS THE MURDERER,THE VILLIAN....and when rick saw that crib, the look on his face and the extra shock to see morales from season one reunite with rick and have a gun pointed at him, telling rick how negan found him and took him in
Negan for sure has the best redemption and character building in twd. Couldn't stand him before Rick slit his throat, but since then Negan has gone on to become one of my favorite characters in TWD, with Daryl being first.
Even before, his villain arc is one of the best i've seen. He was ALWAYS entertaining on screen, for a show that has a lot of boring moments negan was always fun to watch as a villain
The show went off the rails here & there (whispers) but I loved the main actors so much. I hung in till the end. Negan was an amazing character. I can understand how a man can go to not caring about anything to seeing good people do good things & wanting to be good again.
I want to see a walking dead show but from negan and the saviors perspective. See how Rick’s group would’ve looked if Negan was the main protagonist and our beloved characters were the saviors. I wonder how different it would be for us as the viewer?
Remember Rick was willing to do the same with the governor. He was not lying when he said we get to come back and we can all live in the prison together. The governor was the one who didn't believe. So he took it too far. Carl didn't need to die for Rick to wanna keep Negan alive.
I think it makes sense for Negan not to regret killing Glenn and Abraham after the Alexandrians murdered dussins of his people. This is not to say that I don't think he regrets how he tread people to a degree, but I think he feels that he has done what he has done and is not going to get on his knees about it.
I actually started watching the show after watching the clip where Negan kills Abraham and Glenn. It made me both love and hate the guy so much. The acting from every single cast member was so full of raw emotion, I couldn't help but give the show a chance. And I fell absolutely in love with it. I really enjoyed Negan's character development over the years. I haven't watched since the halfway point of season 10 so I need to catch up, especially after seeing his interactions with both Maggie and Herschel Junior. Negan's bringing me back to TWD once again lol :)
Gotta love people that despise Negan. He killed a character they liked years ago, they stopped watching the show because they were sad but they make sure to pop up once in a while to moan and cry
TBF, I also watched the subsequent 1 and a half seasons, and he was pretty much still a vile psychopath at that point. Just impressive if they managed to sell his redemption arc, I guess.
Let's not forgot If it weren't for Rick Grimes Negan wouldn't have never had this opportunity to do the good he has done and never would've tried his very best to right ✅ his wrongs Negans Redemption is Rick Grimes legacy they Better reunite in the spin offs they have to Rick has to see his choice of Sparing Negan have the Great ramifications we have to see them reunite
He’s not redeemable in my eyes, he’s like a Heisenberg type. Started out a good man with good intentions but did bad things to meet his own goals and started to enjoy it because a dark side that was always there came out and showed his true self
When he says he would kill all of them if he could do it all again hes obviously joking, hes trying to make light of the fact he feels horrendous, and she can see he feels horrendous. Hes not actually serious, he just wants to try and make light of the pain he feels.
He was serious. He was talking about being a leader and how he failed them. He would have been a 'better' leader to his people if he had killed all of them before they had a chance to destroy his group. He knows he was a bad man. But he cared about people. Taking out people at the start was his path of least resistance.
@@David-qk7lc tbf as a character you love him even before. literally every scene he was in was fun and tense to watch. you have to appreciate how good he was at being a villain.
In the nicest way possible ricks group started it negan had to explain to families why he failed them and his group roared for justice and negan killing so few was generous
@@patriksalata6506 Rick and his group killed more than 200 of Negan's people, in their sleep, without even giving them the change to protect themselves. That's just as vile as what the Saviours did, even more so. From Negan's perspective, he was protecting and avenging what Rick's group took away in the span of a night. If the positions where reversed, and Rick was the one in Negan's place, he would have done the same, possibly worse considering his track record.
Redemption? Nope, not having it. Not just murdered Glenn and Abraham but the way he did it. And they want to redeem him? F that. This is why I stopped watching after Rick left the show.
Uhhh in the end they're all wrong no one here is the good or bad guy just people doing what they need to do to survive which is the theme of the show and I think Negan's redemption works, Negan is not the man he once was and he regrets it no one forgot what he did or who he was and Maggie was completely justified imagine if Negan had killed Carl or Michonne, Rick would've killed him so I understand Maggie's frustration.
If you're a leader in the group and other groups killed your people wouldn't u do the same as negan did to protect his people and get revenge for those you lost?

Negan is the only reason I kept watching the show tbh.
Negan is proof that nobody is ever truly beyond redemption
I think he is beyond it, you can come to accept him but I don’t think he will ever be forgiven for the evil he caused
Honestly Negan's redemption and Daryl stepping up as a leader saved the Walking Dead for me. Great video. Jeffrey Dean Morgan deserves an award
Negan is one of the deepest characters in the show, so much character development.

Loved his character arc. Loved him as “the bad guy” too. A lot of credit to the actor when they’re the bad guy but still very likeable.
A Negan and Rick team-up against walkers/ enemies would have been so badass. Great video
Totally agree, although I think we can always dream to see that one day.
Thanks a lot !
