Spray adhesive works well for covering the battery’s posts and terminal ends . Caution : the can is flammable , be careful not to come in contact with battery posts ! Spray undercoating on the battery box and the hold down .

Always make sure to replace your nuts
I’m an extremist make sure your wearing proper eye protection & ear protection just in case these babies blow I suggest ear muffs like they use at the pistol range I also recommend a full Apron and proper gloves make sure in your mind you know how to perform this Job and don’t try & patch the shell casing on a old leaky battery a battery like that is super dangerous & should raise a red flag with you that’s it’s time to buy new batteries always pickup a battery corner to corner never squeeze the sides of a battery old or new make sure your electrical system does not have any shorts and your cables & terminal connectors are clean & do not need replaceing make sure your Alternator is functioning properly & your engine drive belts are in good shape & properly adjusted then make sure all your fuses & relays are installed proper hey if your going to dive into this job go all the way & do it right also a good time to make sure you have proper grounding do it right no hiccups or worries when you hit the road and are in your revenue producing mode
