- In this video we get a fresh paint job on our OBS 1996 Ford Bronco Build that we call The Juice! This is turning into a full blown 5th Gen Bronco restoration! We set out to simply have all the rust taken out and repaired. We got out of hand and painted 95% of the entire Bronco and this video shows before, during, & after. The Juice is looking slick and ready for a new interior!

when the FSB drove into the garage I almost cried - beautiful rig! it is the perfect balance of lift and tires. I have had a 2 bricknose FSB and the OBS FSB is so nice!

My 95 has some pretty bad rust and paint chipping starting to form and I don’t really have the money to do a full restoration like this. But I’d love for it to look like yours does one day

Looks great! I have a 1993 white bronco just like this one. It was my first vehicle, and I built it by myself when I was 15, now I'm 30 and still have it!

I have redhead gearbox an borgenson steering shaft to install soon as well on my 95 Flareside
How tight is your steering?
Haven't put them in yet, the truck has so much slop when driving, from what I hear the shaft alone takes most that out, I will update shortly once they're installed.

@@BackroadDriver just an old 77 Vette. It’s far from perfect but simply fun.
Those are going for $25,000 in Illinois or California. Makes me want to hang on to Ol'Greg a little longer, the price for part's have almost doubled in the last couple years.

If you do your research actually the 1st gen of the expedition was really the last bronco..they was trying the 4 door concept bronco but scrapt it and called it a expedition

Looks awesome, my buddy has a 1991 Eddie Bauer, one of the cleanest OBS Fords I’ve ever seen, running flowmasters on the 5.0 and a K&N intake. Alcoas and BFG ATKO2 tires, he takes it on the trails and it’s still clean. The cleanest I’ve ever seen is my schools 1992 F350 fuel tanker

Love Broncos of that era. I have to say you drop in a built 460 and she will sh!t and git. I have an '83 that I need to get up and running again that has the afore mentioned big block.

Thanks for the video, looks great! I have a 4th generation 1989 Bronco with 148K original miles, 5.8L 351-Windsor, no rust (Calif. truck) and everyone that walks by wants to buy it. Sorry, not for sale. I have done over 5K worth of engine & accessory work, but it will eventually need a paint job. It's a 2-tone original paint, white on top with dessert tan on the sides.

Four coats of clear?! Whoa! That's really going to allow lots of wiggle room for cutting and polishing -- and in the future, more protection against scratches. Clear coat that thick, you can get rid of a *lot* of damage in the future, should anything scratch it. Nice!
I'm thinking of selling my 95 Bronco black XLT.
When I had mine I shaved the lip above the doors look so different wrap the door handles black I wrapped my 2015 xtr f150 sorry but was that a 68 camaro
It is a Camaro. Good spot. I think we are going to paint the handles. Hadn’t thought about shaving the rain rails…
Them drip rails will hold alot of water an cause more rust
Nice build/ rebuild on the old bronco.
I’m one for details and (unless I’m wrong) I noticed that Sam now has a blue bandage on the middle finger from several months ago / hitting his finger nail. I guess he’s finally loosing the nail😳. I shut mine in the car door on Feb 15th…..& it has started to look bad and release from the old bed. Just thought I’d point that out 🤓. Carry on guys - Great restoration efforts 👍🏻

What kind of muffler/ exhaust set up do you have? I'm trying decide what I want for my '96 Bronco
This is stock exhaust manifolds and a flow master muffler. We will probably do headers and a custom exhaust soon

What kinda price did y’all pay for the body work ? My 93 white oj has a few dents and dings and a Quarter size rust hole I need fixed. Been so nervous they’d mess up my truck but this gives me hope

This is looking good guys! I would keep the spare on the rear, it really looks incomplete without it.
If we do a spare we will add a swinging hinge to a new bumper. Wanted to get the Bronco looking smooth.

6” lift and 37” tires instead of factory 30” tires so it’s about 13” over factory

Awesome videos! I have been watching them all lol. One last question, did you end up sanding down your top to make it smooth or did you leave the roughness? I was thinking of doing the same but was nervous to ruin it.
It is rough for now. We are trying to get ready for Super Celebration East in a few weeks and need to think thru the entire design a little more before we do that.
