  • Hundreds of Classic Cars in a field - Part 3
These belong to a close friend of mine, it is his personal collection. Most were raced by him on a circle track he owned. Most of the ones not wrecked, he daily drove at one point.
    Saved from the crusher!
    Consists mainly of:
    Chrysler
    Dodge
    Plymouth
    Imperial
    DeSoto
    Fargo
    Cadillac
    Oldsmobile
    Buick
    International
Sorry again for the shaking camera, lots of holes and roots I was tripping over.

That 60' Impala at 6:38 brings back so many childhood memories. My mom had one and she used the jet that looks like it's leaving a vapor trail, side emblem to spot her car out of all the others in a parking lot. Ingeniously designed car in so many ways. It almost feels like just yesterday and not 50 odd years ago.

I would love to be able to buy one of the 61 Caddys. I have one and need parts but here in Indiana I don't get a chance to because we don't have any yards like this . The one I have is a tribute to my dad and grandpaw. My grandpaw had one when I was a small child and my dad always wanted one but couldn't afford it raising my sister ,my little brother and me. Thanks again for the video

Surely, there comes a time to say goodbye to some of these classics. I cannot believe that these can be restored. They are beyond repair., but I love they American shape of cars. Good luck.

That's why he kept them here, so they don't get scrapped. He's like me, he sees value in everything, whether it's one piece of trim, or clips, or whatever. So often these just get parted out for the grill and tail lights, and then crushed. That doesn't help anyone out.
That being said, a lot of the cars have been pulled out of here and restored. I pulled a '58 Plymouth 2 door Suburban wagon out of here a few years ago, and am in the process of restoring. It can be done.

He must have changed cars as often as I change my shorts.
    Once a week.
