In the world of ELR, I'm convinced that Mark and Sam are on the cutting edge of things. The tip of the spear really!!!
My style of shooting is much more inline with the way you guys shoot. I've tried doing the "free-recoil" thing and I just can't go that route. For me, I have to be one with the rifle. I too like just a light touch of preload on the bipod. To me it makes the rifle behave as if it's locked into a track and automatically returns to battery when the recoil impulse begins to diminish. It allows me to see my impacts, even at close range. To me that's important, especially if I'm out hunting by myself and don't have someone spotting for me.

Brilliant guys. I think that your way of setting up is far more practically and tactically better. . The other probably better extreme is a rail gun that can hardly be carried...sure is accurate, but not everyone's cup of tea

As usual, another great video. I love how you can explain the workings, thoughts behind it, pros and contras while staying unbiased, even for a system/product you don't (like) to shoot as it does not fit your style of shooting. Again driving home the fact that 'THE' system does not exist and there are multiple ways to get to a certain result.

I have the bipod ext. I’ve been able to preload but not as much as straight bipod. The fulcrum point and ability to see the trace and stability for shot placement…. A little flex indeed. But you def have some good points I’ll experiment. Also thanks for the muzzle brake. So so able it is just a pleasure to have!

Great video as usual. I bought two of your sliders for my Barrett MRAD and they are working great. One of them is on a monopod and the other up front is on the Accu-Tac bipod. Started with the skis on but found out it works better with the regular feet as I can get just the right amount of preload. It would be very interesting to see a video from you using the 4AW Slider on the end of the BipodeXt. Thanks again for all your videos.

I personally enjoy a bipod with spiked feet allowing me to load the bipod. This helps me stay on target and spot my impacts more consistently than allowing the rifle to free recoil.
