This looks like it was a awesome trip. I love the fact that Nova Scotia has so much wild land that you can just pick a spot to sleep the same way they did so many years ago.
I have the 1908 copy of that book that I got many years ago.it's great for winter time reading and the illustrations themselves are worth an hours time.Edward Brecks book "the way of the woods" has the photo which the illustration of the pancake flipping is taken from.for your next movie from a book I would suggest "the incomplete anglers" by John Roberts.written in 1944 but from what I have dug up might be from a pre war trip into Algonquin.
Here's a map of there route. You might want to contact Cody at WhyNot Adventures as well schools.ednet.ns.ca/avrsb/071/wdlincoln/keji/tent_dwellers.htm

The Tobeatic is much harder to navigate. The trails are not park trails. Good fun though
