Remember customizing my 2002 Black/Red Jordan 9's (if anything, i'd say i was one of the first people to home-modify sneakers with Angelus paint) and turning them into Fire Reds. They were so well done, cats at the gym assumed they were variants. LOL. 15 years whizzes through just like that. Damn.

I've watched this over and over again and the techniques used and the advice given is so crucial and vital to creating customs. I've recently made a from scratch custom pair of Nike Air Yeezy 1 lux with with stingray leather and it was so damn challenging I think I've literally broke over 10 heavy duty needles on a tall post and I've always wanted to do a custom pair of Columbia 11s due to the fact that I could never get a hold of some breds in my size unfortunately I'm a size 17 this was just the advice I needed Thank you guys so much for this video

Great guide! You pointed out the spots that need extra attention, and the detailed steps were great for all levels. Most guides forget to do that. Quick question, what about shoes that have TPU overlay, for instance the Jordan ultrafly 2. How would you prep the surface, do you have to sand it?

+PRL that doesn't make sense. They are two different applications. 2 thin is an paint thinner. GAC is an acrylic polymer that assists with the bondage of paint. You can add 2 thin to GAC but they are not the same.
These look better than the 'win like 96'. Nike should have released them with the white hits and icy blue soles like this custom and the red carmelo XI P.E.

You think this method would work on a pair of UNDFTD Kobe 4 protros? I know the upper on that shoe is basically 100% Patent leather.
It could work on all patent leather. It doesn't matter what sneaker it is.
