THANK YOU!!! My headphones sounded so flat with zero bass and low volume. I tried soooo many other things (changing settings, changing drivers, etc...). Switching to the High Definition Drivers INSTANTLY brought the life back into the sound of my headphones. Appreciate it!

This worked, ignore the warning, every time I play usually there would be a little muffle especially on discord calls but now it’s all perfect and now I can enjoy playing. It may sound funky at first but it will be good.

I don't have 'High Definition Audio Device' in my drivers, I only have 'Realtek High Definition Audio'. Would it be hidden somewhere or is there a place online I can find and download it?

if ur using a dell, hp, or whatever brand ur using, search up the brand and then go to "drivers" and then search for "realtek high definition audio" and download it and do all the steps and it should be right, if it doesnt work reply to this comment and ill make a video on how to do it

thank you so much dude, windows forced me to update to windows 11 then the audio sounds so bad. i turned off the audio enhancher it sounds a bit better but theres still a huge difference from how it sounded before. it got so much better after using this. thanks again dude :)

It is maybe the problem on the sound driver version 6.0.9478.1 (RealTek), which is default sound driver for windows 11. Changing it to other driver, would not let me use laptop's audio application (My laptop use B&O Audio)

I did this and it improved the quality but now my audio occasionally makes a brief buzzing sound, as if my headphones were just being plugged in. This can happen when I for example play a video or any sound after one hasn't been played for a bit. When I play the video/sound, it makes a little click and little buzz for about half of a second then plays the audio just fine. How do I fix this?

If you’re using a Bluetooth headset with a mic, you need to go into your sound settings end disable the microphone.
