Oh, no, no. It's a mite more complicated.
1 is 5; her seated and reading.
2 is a flashback to 1; int of empty room, then the door opens.
3 is 4; she's sitting down to read.
4 is 2; she enters through the doorway she's just opened.
5 is 3; she crosses the room.
Most if not all Nolan films progress this way; converging from ending and beginning to converge on the middle.
It's true even in Memento, the most backward film.
Starts with Teddy getting shot at the end.
Then shows Lenny alone with a phone in a hotel room.
Then 1 scene before Teddy gets shot.
Then picks up with Lenny on the phone.
Then 2 scenes before Teddy gets shot...
      And so forth.
The parts with Lenny on the phone are forward-sequential. He talks. We (the audience) come back later. He continues talking. We come back later.
He discovers his tattooed rule for himself about no phone use and whomever he's talking to hangs up. Later someone badgers him to pick up again. He does. He talks.
At last, he agrees to a rendezvous and hangs up. He goes out and ends up killing Natalie's boyfriend. He resolves to shoot Teddy at the end too.
Hence the film ends in the middle of the sequence of events.

For an amateur as I am, making the same shots with different directors, emotions, genres really helps me understand a little bit more of how cinema is made. Thank you very much! This is why storyboards are (imo) more important than just a shot list. Most of those scenes would have similar lists but a storyboard would clearly communicate exactly what a director is chasing.

David Fincher (late '90s, early 2000s): virtual camera flying through small holes
Tim Burton: Character is a goth, with swirly designs on the wall, and a music score that goes, "Ooooooooooooo!!!"
Stanley Kubrick: Random intercuts of a disturbed face.
Spike Lee: Character enters the room riding the dolly.
James Cameron: Room is lit in dark blues. Character is introduced by a close-up of a foot stomping on something.
Steven Spielberg: Enter dark room with ridiculously bright flashlight. Character stares in awe at something offscreen, presumably the book.
Brian De Palma: Split screen of character entering the room and of the book.
John Woo: Birds fly in as the character enters the room in slow-motion.
Martin Scorsese: Character enters room, camera whip pans to the book.
Sam Raimi: Character enters room, looks at book, cut to book, slight zoom, cut back to character, slight zoom.

Great example and concept but with a lot of omissions since genres influence each style. Same scene shot in 5 different genres style of 5 different directors is more appropriate. The video illustrates how each director would have shot that scene while omitting the different genre style of those directors.
