I gotta say, ADHD both sucks and doesn't at the same time
• it's difficult to concentrate one one thing for long enough
• my ADHD is off and on like; "sorry I was just a bit distra-... is that a hamster?" It's somehow always keeping me entertained.

This video makes me so happy, because I love seeing so many others with ADHD coming together and supporting each other. I have a bad case of ADHD myself, so bad that I can't sleep at night without medicine, and even then I lay in bed for hours before falling asleep. I say things without thinking, and sometimes I start hating myself for being so spastic and saying such stupid things. But seeing all these people who love themselves, ADHD and all, reminds me that I can make the best of who I am.
Thank you for making this video, and lots of love to all the people who have ADHD like us. Be yourself and don't overthink. Take the dive and you'll be fine.
I relate! I hate my ADHD, but I'm relieved I have my medicine now. Before I had my medicine it was even more awful then it is now.
I know exactly what you mean, my old meds made me super depressed, but on my current prescription, I'm the me I want to be, and If I forget to take it, i sit up for hours at night giggling about nothing
I refuse to take medication, but maybe you can listen to ASMR sounds to sleep
I had really horrid insomnia caused by my ADHD and I downloaded an app called Tingles
It really helped me. You could try that :)

i love this song so much, ever since i started thinking that maybe i have ADHD everything has made so much more sense. im not broken, im just a little different. i now have even started loving the parts of me that i thought were annoying or bad. and instead of just hating the way i acted i am teaching myself to live with it and thrive with it.

I got diagnosed with ADHD at nineteen and it explained so many of my issues that made me feel broken or screwed up, and I still feel that way a lot, it's just that now I have the words necessary to actually explain it without it sounding stupid or like some kind of lazy excuse; this song, which I found maybe three days ago, makes me feel a little less broken, and a little more hopeful that I'll be OK.

ADHD definitely has its ups and downs. However, the best thing about it is that when I'm in a determined mood, I can multitask like 5 things at once. Other times, if I try to do even 1 thing on its own, it's way too much. Definitely all over the place lol.

It's annoying that people-often times, teachers-misinterpret ADHD as "being lazy/not listening."
Ok if that's the case, why do some introverts-the intent intent listeners-like me _have_ ADHD if it's considered "not listening"?
Try proving me wrong when I say that it's not something that's just.. cured.
Biting my lip so hard, got my feet locked in the chair, tears running down my face silently, terrified of upsetting my teacher again because I wanted to be good so bad, going to the bathroom at recess and biting down on my backpack strap so I didn't scream or cry too bad... I didn't have the confidence to pay attention to anything but my posture... I already knew everything anyways but when I got to 6th grade I didn't know what I was being taught... I had to pay attention to the teacher... I couldn't do both... She yelled at me... I almost threw up. I'm dyslexic and have some form of add/adhd but because I was so "smart" when I fell behind it was my fault and I was yelled at and got terrible attendence because anxiety and then they yelled at me more... My brother was worse as a kid with adhd and dyslexia and since he had obvious trouble as a kid he had so so so much help and understanding in school and I got none

If they had known about ADHD back in the 60's, i would be the poster child ! So here i am at 72 and i dont think the professionals i talk to are listening or even care at my age. suggestions?🤷♀️🙃
I’m an introvert with adhd and I zone out a lot. It isn’t intentionally not listening but you can definitely miss a lot of what someone says because of it lol

I love this song it explains a lot!..like how ADHD is a true mental thing that can help you in some states, but some can be very hard for example, coffee might make some people hyper, but for us people with ADHD coffee boosts your system it makes it where you don’t move a lot, but for people without ADHD it is just a kick that makes your system more boosted and high blood sugar some people might call it a downfall. I call it a advancement 🥰 Who agrees?

watching random videos and I came across this in love with this band now!
This was recommended to me on Spotify and I immediately put it into my faves . That's SUPER RARE for me. I don't really feel up to listening to new music at all most if the time, I tend to just stick to the same stuff for years (or decades), but this hit home with the first time listening.

I struggle a lot with my ADHD. I constantly have amazing cool ideas, but I have no motivation on the process to make those things happen. I'm constantly stressed for things I haven't done, but at the same time, I'm too stressed to want to do anything. I'm great at work, but that's mainly because I'm doing something for someone else and they showed me how to do everything. Awesome song BTW.

I got diagnosed back in fourth grade. Things always felt a little isolating since then. With so many songs about depression, anxiety, etc. it’s nice to see that there’s even one song about struggling with ADHD. Glad I found this.

Having ADHD and autism along with several mental illnesses is really tough. I either can't focus at all or I hyper focus. Coffee is my main coping mechanism. It really calms down my anxiety and helps me to focus. I either don't talk at all or never stop talking. I'm learning to accept my complex brain. Thank you for making this song! #AUDHD

I’m not able to respond to ever comment, but this one jumped out at me. Our culture and education system have labeled our creativity, energy and passion as a disorder. Yet, when those same educators and doctors need some creative inspiration, they turn on our music. We are not broken, we are designed for a purpose. And that purpose is beautiful! ADHD is a false label, but your NAME is what holds significance!

i was diagnosed with adhd when i was 5. if you dont have it and want to know what its like, just imagine being completely focused on your task and then a bug flies by and youre just staring at it for 5 minutes straight.

I have ADHD but quited medicine last summer, the next weeks were hard for me but I feel better, I feel like myself. For anyone who wants to get rid of the medication, don't do it too fast cause that can give a lot of stress and talk with the docter about it :)

I love my math teacher! She’s very patient with my ADHD and understands that I’m trying my best, she lets me have out things that help me pay attention easier. She lets me listen to calming music that helps me block out the shouting in my math class. She has a son with ADHD so she understands. It’s sorta a breather for me to go into that class. Even tho math is my lowest grade. As it isn’t that simple to memorize something then simply write down the same info. It’s very different at least for me. My friends are fine with my ADHD and help me understand what’s going on (as I was most likely looking at something else or zoned out) but, my science teacher says I don’t and that I’m faking it??? But, my other teachers are fine with it. But my math teacher understands the most

I took physchology and I don't know why counselors or physiatrist don't tell you that ADHD really isn't a disorder but in fact it is a symptom of something that is tramitizinh the child such as child abuse, melestation etc. And sexual abuse is the most common factor in the equation.
