  • How to improve English pronunciation: In this episode of Word of the Week, I will show you how to pronounce reliable and its noun form, reliability. If something is reliable, then it is describing a subject as trustworthy, consistently good and of high quality. Reliability is the quality of being trustworthy, consistently good and of high quality.
In this video you will learn the pronunciation of reliable and reliability, the sounds in each syllable, and how to use them in a sentence. Yes! The pronunciation of English vowels and word stress can be a challenge
Not only is knowing how to pronounce English words correctly empowering, but it also means your listeners understand you first time and they can focus on your messages and not on understanding your words. Accent reduction is not necessary, but clarity of speech is.

Thank you for the video. I once saw one that instead of explaining the sounds from start to end, they explained the from end to start. Sounds contra intuitive, but for me was much simpler to learn the pronunciation. If at some point you made one like that let me know.

Arrigo, you are so right. You make an imortant point here. When I'm teaching pronuciation face to face, this is often the method I use, especially with longer words. I'll keep you informed if I make some more videos. Thanks so much for your feedback..
