      Vivianne1124 Thank you very much for the encouragement, Vivianne. I will try to make some time in the near future for producing more Tarot instructional videos. I teach English in Japan and the school year has just begun here, so I'm terribly busy right now. But your comment inspires me. Kind regards. HBG.

    Very detailed and easy explained please do more Tutorials i LOVE YOUR TEACHING STYLE!! i have interpreted the story line as this... Here is a man who is happy and loving what crosses him is the 10 of cups to me saying that he has his family and they love him beneath him the 4 of Pentacles says that he keeps his family close to him doesnt want to mingle out side his family almost like an abuse recent past shows me that he has quit his job as he need perhaps to work together with others perhaps long hours and not enough time with the family 5 of wands tell me that perhaps he will be losing his family because of the clinginess of the family the page of Pentacles tell me that will start again learn not to be so clingy. 3 of cups perhaps he see the change he needs to keep the family and to celebrate another chance. 2 of Cups the partner ship with his partner wife or significant other another chance to have a happy Temperance he hopes by changing his ways starting over that this will bring the peace in his home he wants harmony, the out come will be he will have to work at it but he needs to be patient.? Ive been reading tarot for aprox 1 year and am still leaning how to connect the card and make a story from them i rarely do the celtic cross because i dont know how to connect but if im right in my interpretation it clicked with the first two cards to build the story around them? Yes? could you please tell me what you think? could you see this in my Interpretation? I really would love your feed back.

    • @MordredUndead
      @MordredUndead 6 лет назад +3

      Thank you for your kind feedback. I can certainly see and understand your interpretation of the sample spread. Interpretation really depends on the person you are reading for and their particular situation. This is something that usually can be delineated during a Tarot counseling session as the Reader and the Querent discuss the Querent's situation and concerns.( It can be more difficult when reading for oneself as the ego likes to color and cloud with it's own deceptive self justifications and self validations ).This sample reading was done rather spontaneously and without any specific purpose or question in mind; it is merely to demonstrate one way of interpreting the cards that are displayed, what suits predominate (or are lacking), what Trumps (Major Arcana) or Honors (Court cards) or Aces are present - and where -, and any corresponding symbols, visual cues or numerical values. Tarot is a mirror and it will reflect a momentary glance to the view (and through the individual lens) of the beholder. And, yes; a Celtic Cross spread is built around the first two cards and they should be seen as the "Heart" of the spread built around them. Namaste.

    Hi, thank you! I do have a question regarding laying out the cards. I understand the reason for the first two cards, but can you lay out the 3rd card above, the 4th below, then the 5th and 6th card the same just as you layed out? That would be more of how a person would cross themselves. Up, down, left, right.

    I'm finding it hard with questions what is below you and above you?? Some tarot readers have something different.. Conscious mind, unconscious mind, what to focus on.. Any tips that's easy for me to interpret. I have every other position written down and they are easier.

    I am new to tarot and I found out that the position whether natural or reversed has a different interpretation. I am curious with the 2nd card. How can you tell if it is in natural or reversed position? Thanks!

    • @MordredUndead
      @MordredUndead 6 лет назад +3

      The position of the 2nd card is determined in the same way all of the cards are - in the way they are drawn from the pack. When shuffling for oneself or for another it is important to decide a top and bottom of the pack and to watch closely to see the top of the pack when handling it or passing it to or from the questioner.

      You will notice most of the time as an obstacle, the meaning stays the same for most cards whether upright or not in the 2 position

    im a beginner in tarot and i have a question. do you do the celtic cross with ALL CARDS, or can you do with just the minor or the majot arcana alone?

    • @MordredUndead
      @MordredUndead 6 лет назад +3

      In general practice I have always held to the "If you're not playing with a full deck of Tarot cards, you're not really playing with a full deck!" line of thinking. The Major Arcana give the great celestial forces of the Universe a chance to express themselves within the vicissitudes of material existence - represented by the Minor Arcana. However, Tarot comes without strict rules and if you have developed a fair degree of intuition then by all means follow it and experiment for yourself. For example, a question revolving around a relationship floundering amidst economic troubles might be given a 3 or 5 or even 7 card reading using only the suits of Cups and Coins, perhaps including the Major Arcana for the big heavy underlying themes. This eliminates (for good or ill ) the opportunity of the extra elements of life (Swords and Wands) to add their "seemingly" irrelevant comment. I think you will discover, however, that doing this imbalances the integrity of the Mandala of the Tarot. The Tarot is an esoteric Mandala and each part of our lives is affected by all the others along largely unseen strands of a wider web. Using the entire deck - and expanding into reversed meanings - will also force the reader to study harder, see more deeply, make deeper connections, and widen the scope of interpretation for each Tarot key, and understanding the Tarot itself as a system. 🙏🙏🙏

    • @MordredUndead
      @MordredUndead 6 лет назад +1

      Also, I would never do a Celtic Cross using only the Major Arcana. It would become too abstract and really unreadable because these keys are the primary celestial forces of existence. For some deep soul-searching reading maybe a 1 or 3 card spread with the Majors would be sufficient. But again, please experiment and try for yourself. There are no hard and fast rules to Tarot. Each Tarot reader must discover it for themselves. 🙏🙏🙏

    I did three separate spreads two asking how my partner feels about his ex and in both I pulled in external influences The Lovers & The Star.
    In the other spread I asked what he's concealing in our relationship & in outside influences position I pulled Queen of wands. Can someone please help me interpret?

      @@nadia_margaret_3458 I think you might have misinterpreted the last one. I asked what he’s concealing in our relationship I did this reading 5 years into our relationship. So outside influences would be someone else then?
