Never believed in the concept of tipping, because of the region i'm in. You're lucky to get a tip whether your service be good or bad. It's basically a privilege here. It really depends on the persons financial situation too, not everyone gets paid fair wages and wants to spend an extra $10 on a service when they already paid for it. I mean if you can sure why not? But what really upsets me is people thinking they're entitled to tips like cmon.
Long story short, I date a millionaire girl, and she told me the rich stay rich by tipping little and always have more money leftovers 😢 I wish I was rich I would at least tip a $50 bill so they can take care of my car 😅
But they do when it comes to philanthropy freemasonic giving to look good in the eyes of a society that they're truly not helping but rather helping their own interests while giving said donation.

If this a true story you should be better than that. Don't treat them the way they treated you, but don't be their friend either. You should only be friends with people who were cool with you before wealth. If no one stuck around when you were homeless then you're gonna have to make new friends. Buy a very cheap car. Perhaps even rent an efficiency. After a year or 2 you can reveal your true financial state. A true friend would want to end the friendship for having lied to them. Someone might be your friend when you make 70,000 but not your friend when youre either making 10,000 or 1,000,000. Lifestyles are too different. I wouldn't consider myself rich, although I once spent over $24,000 on clothes in less than 6 months. Having a lot of money makes you relaxed and you don't have to show everyone that you have money. It's more the poor people or people who have less money who walk around with expensive Adidas or Nike clothes and have to show it to everyone. I know people who have sold a house for over a million dollars and not even these people would consider themselves rich. At the end of the day, it's just nice to have $5 for a nice cheeseburger and a jacket you like. What role does it play whether you wear cheap but comfortable sweatpants, whether you are rich or have little money, it no longer matters because you have to feel comfortable. For a while I even let other people drive me to Burger King because I had so much money and then, just for fun, I gave the people who drove me there, a whole menu.
