Yeah, I think it just show how Hellagur has been shafted by being a Y1 unit and Zuo is the modern version of musha, the way they should have been. Another example is Carnelian, where Lin can generate more easily SP and cycle better, Carnelian still have a skill cycle (duration and sp cost) who is not great and make her suffer despite her very very high AOE dmg.
@@nevrankroaton I feel like early ops like Carnelian is just a poorly balanced ops, typically you don't need as much damage as her overcharged s3, but you need more damage and up-time than her non-charged skills, and the skills cycle is pretty bad despite her having to really charge the skill to be strong. I feel like these 3 characteristic, charged, no auto-attack, and AOE-focused damage doesn't really work well together.
@k_a4685 for every operator and new archetype that they release, that makes me question their sanity, there's at least ONE person working at Hypergryph that understands the assignment
I think comparing one of the earliest 6* to the much more recent 6* is unfair in the first place. Even Chalter who was considered "Too OP" when she was released has fallen off lately. I barely use her nowadays.
This is really stupid, but i think an alter for Hellagur would be good for him (like what he was in his "prime" with Patriot), because seriously having the JP VA of Aizen but having a kit so bad is not doing him any justice for my boi.

I'd gladly trade my Shu for him. :') (update) I got him during the rice event banner! 🥰 I had 113 pity and _I knew_ he was coming in my next pull as 13 is my lucky number - I DID. Plus I got him again recently, he came home again in my 10 pulls after I got Surtr. He's maxed now and I love him a lot! His playstyle is my most fav!
Yeah the only best time to pull for him was during the Those Who Sow Limited Banner since you would have a 50% chance to pull for him. After that though? A only 2% chance to get him on any other banner which is abysmal! I hope you get to pull him when he shows up on a banner next time @redfoxkame!

I like his S3 more than S2 because it has very little SP lockout time so it actually abuses his insane SP regen, don't get me wrong his S2 is really good as well but I like to do some exercise with my hands with S3 :flush:

If it assures you somewhat, I was able to get both shu and zuo in roughly 70 pulls across three accounts lol. It was because I’d get shu around the 20th (strangely enough) and then zuo. Hope you get them super early too!
*4th. Executor alter is the 3rd one and he's a very strong alternative cause Thorns and Mountain are pretty outdated. Hellagur also has self-sustain but he's terrible
