Especially when you stressed upon 'How the family copes and helps the kid' , the female lead's dialogue almost at the end on about just taking revenge and not focusing on how to help the child. Blue sattai in his review mentioned "Hope" a 2013 Korean film as to be an inspiration and I went and watched it just out of curiosity. Never have I been moved emotionally by a film as much as Hope. It focuses entirely on how the family copes up with what has happened to the child and how the child is avulsed by even her father's presence. The battle of the father to help the kid without hurting her by his presence has been captured beautifully. Its emotionally draining, so much more than Chithha and will leave you in a much worse state than you left the theatre. Even that friend of yours who left with you would be finding it hard to speak a word after it. Please give it a watch, its definitely not for the faint hearted. I dont know if you'd try watching it but if you ever do, do drop a comment. Thanks for the quality content ❤
